  • Great little toolbox with room
Color: Midnight (Blue)
This toolbox will last for years because of the construction. Powder coated and steel. I like how it includes the rubber mat for each drawer and top tray. I don't have a whole lot of tools but for my electronics repair business it is just the right size. Even fully loaded it is not too heavy. Drawers open real nice thanks to the ball bearing sliders. ... show more

  • Great color with tons of storage
Color: Midnight (Blue)
I have been eyeing this toolbox on social media for a while and was so excited to receive it. The color is awesome and I love the pop of color with the liners on the inside. Two drawers and a top compartment with a latch. Excited to have this out in my apartment for all my tools, hardware and other knick·knacks. ... show more

  • visually attractive, but somewhat strange toolbox
Color: Sunshine (Yellow)
Cosmetically, this is dynamite. Large radius edges. Plastic covered end panels, visually appealing color, no components (except for the top handle, and that not by much) which stick out from the body. Its exterior is especially suited for use in a home or other location where you want the toolbox to be gentle to other surfaces it might come in contact., but sturdy enough to hold and protect some weighty tools. The problem is that you will start out with a very weighty tool box before you put a single tool within. This is really too heavy (and pretty) to be hauling around much, especially since your only mans to hold it is a single handle central to the top--it is not setup to accommodate a shoulder strap to bare the weight. And all that weight is held by a single plastic center latch. When that gives way (and I feel confident it eventually will) there is no other way to secure the lid, and thus no other way to carry it by hand. I find this best suited to function as a transportable chest--spending most of its time in one place, but capable for being moved. I will probably use it to house leather working tools (knives, punches, groovers, burnishers and the like). I think with a little design tweaking this could be an outstanding case, but as it sits now, it is a design without sufficient focus. It sure does look cool, though. The draw pulls are also plastic, thin plastic at that. I seems to me, that it will harden over time, become brittle, and break at some future moment--again with no means for replacement. They are inset so as to make for a clean outter appearance, but this also slightly reduced the interior volume of the draws. The draws glide smoothly and high quality rails. They should accommodate weight well. Along with the drawers and silicon matts (yellow in my case), that nicely line the floor of each drawer. The drawers have marginally adequate surface area, but lack volume due to there low height. So this a beautiful appearing case, with some good components (e.g., the drawer slides) and some components which appear likely to fail prematurely relative to the heavy duty main box. ... show more

  • Super sturdy and looks amazing
Color: Midnight (Blue)
I love this toolbox! It’s so cute and I am planning to just leave it on my bookshelf. I put all of my hand tools in it. Lots of room for them and easy to organize. Def unlike any toolbox I’ve seen before.

  • Limited tool storage. A little heavy. Plastic parts. It's just OK.
Color: Midnight (Blue)
The media could not be loaded. If you have just a few tools and need a place to store them, this will work, but it’s not a “worksite” toolbox – lots of plastic and not as much storage as you might think it would have. It’s also pretty heavy for a “portable” toolbox. The latch for the top/lid is plastic, which is a real disappointment. This is the piece that will likely get the most use and it feels cheap, and if it breaks, I’m not sure how to replace it (or if you even can). The drawer handles are also plastic. The sides of the toolbox are either plastic or are covered in plastic. The drawer liners are silicone, which are fine for protecting your tools, but silicone attracts every piece of dust and debris, so understand it’s going to be gritty – not an ideal solution for toolbox drawer liners. There is no way to lock the toolbox. If you have a few screwdrivers, pliers, a small hammer, etc. and don’t want a huge toolbox, this will work. It can be carried, but filled with tools, it gets pretty heavy. I think it is better suited for a hobbiest or someone who does crafts and needs a storage container. I would have expected more for the premium price. It’s not bad, but for me, it’s just OK. ... show more

  • Tool much heft and too sturdy for its size.
Color: Midnight (Blue)
The first thing that strikes my impression about this tool box is how heavy it is. It's built extremely well and sturdy, to the point that I deem unnecessary. Get this, this tool box is only 8 x 8 x 17 or so. I can only put very few heavy duty tools into this box and it'll just fill the box up by volume before weight. So whoever put this box design together, I beg the maker to rethink it's purpose and match the correct material selection. The metal grade used for this tool box is an over kill and it only makes the box very heavy to carry. Without putting any tools in the box, I already hate to haul this little thing around the house. At the end of the day, as small as this box is, it'll have to stay stationary on my work bench or something. But I no longer want to haul this puppy around town with me. It's simply too heavy. I may sound like I'm griping a lot on its weight, but I retain its 5-star rating because I think if you want a real rigid box, you'll have to use heavy set materials and expect it to last forever. Which is what this box does. This box is supposed to be some character-retro tool box, but more I look, more I find it not being that retro to look at. It's actually quite a great little tool box. The top lid opens up to a 2.5 inch deep spacing, and the two bottom drawers differ slightly in size. The drawer slides glide smoothly, there aren't any self-closing mechanism, but at the end of sliding the drawer back, it does have a plastic-like bump stop feel to it. Lastly, the bottom drawers can open freely without needing to unlock with the top lid. That's a big plus to me since this box will be stationary, and I will need that degree of freedom to access the drawers without the extra step of dealing with the top lids. Overall, despite its heft, I'd still give the box a 5-star rating because of how well it really is made, and this box is expected to last forever. ... show more
