    • Not water resistant!
Bright light, easy to install but not being water resistant means you have to remove and bring it indoors! Weird for an outdoor gizmo to be designed that way.

The only red flag with this purchase was the instructions clearly say to bring it indoors when not in use. For what I spent, I didn't expect it to be waterproof and I think it's a great value for the money. Still, a note like that on a grill light is pretty funny. Others have complained about the fact that the "button" isn't really a button. I think it's a pretty good design, I just swipe my hand across it and it turns on/off. I have now been using my BBQ Grill Light for 15 months. I use it when in particular we have early sunsets. Other buyers have rated this light much lower than I have. But let's use some common sense. I think it works great. Light is bright. Angle is easy to adjust. The case is made of plastic, so be careful not to get it too close to the heat. The light is not made of titanium with a heat shield, so it might melt. Don't leave the light out in the weather, because the weather will ruin it. Let's use some common sense. The switch has no moving parts and is very sensitive. I turn my light off when I am done, and put it in the drawer inside the house with my other BBQ tools, and all is well. That means I have to put it on the grill handle, and take it off the grill handle when I am finished. At this rate I think my BBQ light will last for years. ... show more

Nice unit for lighting up my grill, especially now that it gets dark so early. I note 2 issues. I had to attach off center to the grill handle because when closed, the light doesn’t allow the grill to close completely. Not a big deal because there is plenty of light. My biggest complete is that the on/off button is WAY too sensitive. Much too easy for the light to be turned on or off. Too easy to imagine the light being turned on when put away and the batteries drained. I also don’t like the battery compartment being secured with screws vs some sort of pressure latch. ... show more

    • Great product, that can be used in a multitude of ways/spaces.
I purchased this light for our new grill. As soon as it arrived, my husband asked if I had purchased it for our boat. So, I ordered a second one for the boat. I am thinking of purchasing a third one to hang inside my "she shed" because it produces the perfect amount of light, at the touch of a hand. It is incredibly convenient, and the light that it produces is bright and spreads out just right for a grill, boat, or a shed. It is super easy to mount, and I love that it comes on with a light touch of the hand. If it gets hot to the touch, I haven't noticed it yet. We don't leave it on for long, on the boat, because it attracts bugs. I wish they made one with a yellow light inside, to keep the bugs from being attracted to it. Haha ... show more
