Well-Made, Stylish Athletic Jacket - True to Size, Comfy and Cute

Love the Champion brand retro-style track jacket! Super comfortable and lightweight casual jacket.suitable for year-round wear. French terry jacket material is 70% cotton and 30% polyester. French terry is a medium-weight knit type fabric; on the top side the material is soft and smooth, on the bottom side textured pile loops are visible. The loops on the fabric underside help to trap heat, improve airflow and wick moisture resulting in a warm, breathable jacket. I ordered a medium and it fit as I prefer. I generally wear size 8/medium (5'6", 135 lbs.). The ribbed jacket bottom hits on the top of my hips, loose and blousy fit through the stomach and chest, sleeves are long (about 24") with tight ribbed cuffs. The pockets are side seam pockets - have to reach back more than is comfortable for me to put my hands in the side seam pockets. Pockets do not have zippers, open pockets do flare out a bit on the sides. Jacket body length is about 22', width at chest is 21" and bottom ribbed stretchy band is 18" wide (unstretched). Jacket has a good quality double metal zipper. Striped cowl neck collar acts as a broad, wide collar, I don't think it looks good or feels comfortable zipped into a cowl neck. I do like the embroidered Champion touches; left chest "C", back band "Champion" and signature Champion sleeve patch. Jacket construction is perfect, no uneven or messy stitching, no hanging threads inside or out to clip, inside of zipper neatly finished with binding and high quality yard dyed ribbing on collar, cuffs and bottom band. I like that jacket can be paired with matching pitcher pants to make a complete outfit - pants are available for purchase on amazon. Quality, fit and style all for a value price from trusted athletic wear brand Champion.

If you’re looking for a jacket for lounging and cozy fall days or running errands, this Champion Pitcher full-zip jacket is the one! FIT: I ordered my regular size medium in the unbleached cotton color. The Champion jacket fit true to size for a standard, roomy fit. The 2-way zipper is a brushed gold tone and allowed for some extra room at the waist when layering. The jacket was waist length or slightly longer on my 5”4” frame. Fabric bunched over the waistband so a taller person could easily fit into this as well. The pockets were deep enough to keep my hands warm. FEEL: This jacket was very soft on the outside but not as much on the inside due to the French terry material. It was very comfortable to wear. FABRIC: The fabric on the Champion jacket is 70% cotton and 30% polyester. Overall the jacket is well constructed except for white stitching on the black collar that is not straight. Although not a deal breaker, for this category of sportswear, I would have expected better detailing. The ribbed cuffs and bottom of the jacket is stretchy, but the jacket is not. The color is cream, and not white. It is a medium thickness and weight. It can be machine washed. The Champion pitcher jacket has classic Champion details including an embroidered emblem on the back of the neckline and a “C” on the sleeve. It can be matched with black joggers or wide leg pants, or layered with a tank top underneath. The jacket is a good value for the money for this brand. Highly recommend!

Nice Light Weight Champion Jacket

I ordered the unbleached cotton color jacket in a medium. I normally wear a small, but I wanted room to layer underneath this "standard fit" jacket. It is roomy enough for light layering. I love that the sleeves are long enough to fully cover my wrists as I have long arms and that is sometimes a challenge. The rest of the jacket hits just below my hips, but I am short waisted, so take that with a grain of salt. I found the outer side of this jacket to be soft and a creamy white color, and the inner side of the jacket has a terry finish. The double navy-blue stripe around the ribbed cuffs and the waist gives the jacket a classic Champion feel, as does the embroidered "C" on the chest of the jacket and the appliqued "C" patch on the left sleeve. All the seams appear secure, and there are no loose threads. It can be zipped up or down and has two on-seam pockets and a collar that will zip up to the chin. I really like the look, feel and weight of this jacket and I know I will find many occasions to wear it. My only concern is the nylon zipper. It catches a little bit both zipping up and down but is smooth once you get past the initial tug. Time will tell if it holds up... fingers crossed.

Super cute retro athletic-inspired jacket

Don't be fooled by "pitcher" in the item description--this is not hard-core athletic wear. I'd call it athletic wear-inspired fashion. It is gorgeous in person. The cuffs, hem, and funnel neck are thick, dense cotton, and the body of the jacket is thinner, lighter-weight French terry. It feels so nice. The "white" trim is more of a cream, which gives it more of a vintage vibe to me (and less an athletic feel). The stitching could have been better, especially on the off-white, highly visible funnel neck, and there are plenty of noticeable short cut threads (hopefully knotted so it doesn't unravel). On such a cute, otherwise quality jacket, the sloppy sewing definitely detracts. I love the double zipper; unzipping from the top and bottom adds an extra little stylish flair. The fit is described as standard, but I'd say it runs a little large. I typically choose large in jackets so I have a little extra room for layers. I almost expected a medium to be too small, thinking it was athletic cut, but it is perfect. I'll be throwing this on over my gymwear and also dressing it up for casual trips to the mall and movie theater. It's a good weight for spring and fall, and, if you are like me, for summer to ward off the subzero AC that seems to be cranking everywhere all summer long. Overall, very cute styling appropriate for a variety of temperatures/conditions and casual activities, though the borderline poor stitching loses it a star. It is cuter in person than in the pictures; hopefully the stitching on mine is an anomaly.

Nice quality Mockneck jacket

I love the look and design of this Champion full-zip mock neck jacket! The fabric is so soft and is very comfortable to wear. The colors are one of my favorite combinations, and they stand out well with the white. I also like the versatility of this jacket. Even though it's summer, I've worn this several times now! I keep my house cold, around 65 degrees, and like to throw on a jacket or sweater in the evenings. This quickly became my go-to since the material isn't overheating and you can move around better. I ordered my recommended size, and it isn't too big and not too small. Overall, this is a good quality jacket, and I'm very happy with it! The pockets are a nice addition, too!

This tracksuit jacket is very flattering, well-made and the colors are bright. It fits as expected for my size. (M). I have a smaller bust at 36B so if you’re larger, you might want to go up a size. The material is thicker, not thin or flimsy and soft, the zipper is well made, and it sits at the top of my hips, which is great for my shorter height at 5 foot three. Definitely good quality!

Comfortable Lightweight Jacket with a Versatile Collar
