Ok here goes…would give 5 stars, but haven’t had them long enough (only 1 week) to determine how they will hold up long term. Right out of the package; however, excellent. Not too thin (not see through), not too thick. Very comfortable, and finally no “high waters”. I’m about 5’7”, and the length is perfect. May be slightly long for someone much shorter than me. The quality seems to be very good. And they have kind of a dressy yet casual style. Definitely NOT like the thick sweatpants in Rocky Balboa movies, lol. Finally, they have a bootcut or slightly larger than bootcut opening which I love. Hope this helps. Update: would like to add that I am so impressed with these cotton pants that I immediately ordered 2 more pair.

I haven't tried the black ones yet but sure that the look and fit will be fine. I have tried but not worn the gray ones but tried them on and checked them out carefully and they are perfect. Light weight but fine for in house and grocery shopping. Walking on a cold day would require a heavier fabric for me. Grey color is so nice -- black is always good to have for anything. I can wear for appointments with doctor and dental office and they are quite appropriate.

I bought these a few months ago, but wanted to hold off on the review until I had given them some time. Basically, I like them (and liked them enough to buy a second pair in gray). They are reasonably soft, comfortable, and are super for lounging around and/or walking. I feel that they are presentable enough to wear out on errands. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase. The not-so-good? They shrink. And, moreover, they continue to shrink over time. (No, it’s not my waist that’s growing :), they actually have shrunk in girth and in length.). I ordered an xl, rather than my usual large anticipating some shrink - but have been surprised that these seem to get smaller (mostly shorter) with each wash. I also miss pockets - be aware that they aren’t a feature of this style.

I love these pants. I think they are an inch or two long but I am an inch or two short so that will work. Delivery was quick. The pants do not shrink in the washer/dryer. They will get lots of use.
