Ordered 30 of these paddles for my Table Tennis Club (Middle School), Started out great, they were light weight, felt good when you hit the ball but after about 2-3 months of use, the rubber started to peel off the plastic not from the kids because I watch them closely but just from normal use, the cheap glue used was not meant for weekly use by kids, the rubber is starting to peel and I've tried home remedies with hot glue, 3M Adhesive spray, nothing seems to work as all the paddles are starting to turn into plastic paddles without rubber. To find the silver lining, I can still use these plastic paddles as starter paddles for my middle school kids, just like an escalator that doesn't move turns into stairs. These paddles even though the rubber really helps with spin, if I only have the plastic paddles they are still good for beginners learning to hit the ball. Would recommend spending a few more dollars if you plan on heavy use of these paddles. ... show more

Read fine print!! It seems like a fine paddle, but I was looking for a red one as part of a Forrest Gump costume, like several other reviewers. Received a blue paddle and had to paint it. Bummer! We use these in our Student Ministry game room and they are strong. The wooden one we bought kept being broken. Through some students have tried, these have not broken. After a few months the rubber started to come off but that was because of a tremendous amount of use and abuse.
