The reason I ordered this is slightly embarrassing...but it works perfect! I bought it to be able to sit on it and move easily as I dust/clean my baseboards. I got sick of bending over for long periods of time...now I can just sit on my little scooter and scoot along the wall! It's awesome!

Recently renovated a house and also moved in to it, I used this scooter (with a seat cushion on top) to roll around and do the baseboard paint. I then later used it to help me move some of my furniture around by myself- the type of furniture that I could otherwise lift, but they’re just a bit large or unwieldy, like those IKEA desks, or large cube shelves. Worked great for me for both! Definitely worth it. Also, not gonna lie, it’s still fun and nostalgic to scoot around on for fun 😂 brings back memories! ... show more

My daughter has a neurological problem and is wheelchair dependent. Her physical therapist suggested this and she loves it! She is 17 years old (adult size at 145 lbs) and our downstairs is tile but a long walk (in her case ride) to the bathroom from the living room. This allowed her a little independence that she really needed. The casters are strong but never caught or stop swiveling. My 11 year old daughter just likes to play on it which is fine. But all in all this scooter has done exactly what was intended plus put a little Physical Therapy work in the process. Also the scooter arrived in one day as expected. ... show more

I didn't notice the type of wheels on these things. These are definitely not meant for outdoor use. I purchased them so the kids could scoot/race down a slight inclined sidewalk, but these indoor light weight plastic wheels won't roll. :/

They arrived today in a deep blue, not yellow with a different handle and wheels. I purchased these boards because of the wheels in the photograph. The photo seem to have a metal frame and the actual wheels are plastic like what’s you’d see on a office chair. The boards came completely assembled and seem sturdy. ... show more

Wheels are wrong. The picture shows rubber wheels. These come like plastic office chair wheels with the plastic half guard. If you look at the other scooters available you will see what I mean. I'm about 170 lbs and I'm in a wheelchair. I bought so I can glide around in the basement without the wheelchair. So far so good. ... show more

Got this for 6 year old granddaughter. She loves it & it's a favorite rainy day & after dark toy & exercise provider. Holds her husky 9 year old brother in a pinch. It's well made & looks like a throwback American made product from my youth in terms of quality, however it's made in Taiwan. UPDATE JAN 11,2015: Still going strong & still used by now 9 & 12 year old grandkids regularly. Doesn't mar floors & gets left under a bench in the dining room for ready use. UPDATE 8/17/2018: Looking to buy this again for another granddaughter. It's a shame it has so many 1 star reviews because some people expected 2 boards, driving the average rating down causing shoppers to overlook it. I understood in 2012 it was either 1 yellow or 1 blue board (singular, not boards) sent with no control of color received. Given the quality of the scooter board it's silly to expect 2 at its low price. ... show more
