This is a fairly heavy duty cover. It's elastic allows it to cling to the generator and not slip even in high winds. Much thicker than some other brands that I've bought before moving over to a champion. Can recommend highly. I use it on a 100520 open frame inverter model.

I bought this for the next power outage here in houston. At first I was thinking it would be gas powered but as I did more research tri-fuel is the way to go! I had a cutoff valve added to my natural gas and purchased a quick connect and an extra hose. Well I didn’t have any reason to start it up but this weekend, my contractor needed some power so I hooked it up and let him used it. He loved it! The generator is relatively quiet. I am going to buy a baffle to block out some of the noises. With this generator I should be able to power my refrigerator, ac and a few small appliances in a pinch. I love the electronic start! Basically select fuel type, set the choke and hit the start button and you have yourself instant power! ... show more

These covers are cheap and heavy duty. I use them for everything. Cover my gas grill and all my wood working tools like router table, table saw and cutoff saw. The draw sting works great keeping the cover on tight.

    • Pretty durable
So I keep my generator covered and until I get my heavy duty cargo basket, the generator lives in the back of my truck. I keep this cover over it because I like to take care of my equipment. UV kills everything, especially rubber and plastic. This has lasted about a year with the wind whipping over it and going through car washes. I bought another because mine is finally getting rips in it. It's vinyl, not waxed canvass. If that was available I'd jump on it but I haven't found that option yet.
