Champion’s EZ Start Dial makes getting started quick and easy. Featuring Cold Start Technology, Extended Run Time, and an easy-to- read fuel gauge, the reliable 212cc Champion engine produces 4500 starting watts and 3500 running watts, and runs for 14 hours at 25% load when the 2.3-gallon fuel tank is full. With a 0.5-quart oil capacity (included 10W-30) and a low oil shut-off sensor, this inverter operates at an ultra-quiet 61 dBA from 23 feet, which is about as loud as normal speech. The no tool access panel and oil drain tube allow for easy maintenance. Confidently connect your sensitive electronics since this inverter produces Clean Power (less than 3% THD). Our Quick Touch Panel offers fast access to all your controls. The Intelligauge with Power Meter monitors voltage, frequency, and operating hours with ease, while Economy Mode monitors power consumption in real time to reduce engine wear and tear. This fits my RV needs very well. It's mounted on the back bumper of my travel trailer (away from any windows/doors/vents so exhaust is not a problem) It provides enough amps to run both my A/C , microwave and refrigerator at the same time. Vibration is a minor issue but foam padding between the generator and mounting tray makes it tolerable. Great for boondocking in hot weather. The co2 function on this generator is not good, I have it outside with nothing around it and it will shut off! Terrible customer service with trying to return, other issues are remote doesn't work and the auto choke doesn't work! Buyer beware of this lemon!

    • Power to Spare When You Need It
I used this generator when the power went out for over 39 hours to run my entire house for everything that ran off of 120 volts. No I didnt use the microwave or hair dryer but everything else. I put an interlock kit on my breaker panel and an outlet wired to my breaker box and everything ran fine with plenty to spare. It might have got up to 40 percent on the generator but most of the time it was below that. I could not hear it running in the house but could see it outside the window and it worked great. All the lights in the house are led lights so they draw very few amps. The TV's and internet router were up and running fine also so that we could still function as normal. Sure I didn't have the dryer or AC running but we could make it without that for a few days. I've also used it to power a few of my shop tools that I wanted to use during this time and it did that with ease. Very happy with it and don't fear the next storm or rolling blackouts this summer. ... show more

We initially purchased a model 200986 inverter for our RV and it worked so well, we purchased another inverter with a remote! Later, we purchased a ParaLink Kit to parallel both inverters. We are able to use these both with our RV and to connect to our home if there was a power outage. I purchased this model generator after researching several online. The champion had the highest customer review rating. I chose it mostly due to its size and weight. I replaced a 40 year old Onan 4k with it. I doubt it will work in 40 years, but if all this stands the test of time ( myself included ) I will of course update the review. So far it's performing well. The remote start saved me time wiring it in. I'm currently adding fuel line modifications and an exhaust outlet extension so it exits outside the body. It starts great from the remote. The dial start and choke operation using the pull start is a bit of a struggle, but it can be done in the cold. I tested it on a 34°F morning. With the remote, it starts easy in the cold. The generator uses a stepper motor to control the choke. So with a dead battery, there is a choke lever inside ( the easy to remove ) side panel. This made no battery / dead battery start up much easier. Overall, it's perfect for my RV. I will update after I get some real hours on it. It runs everything in the RV easy and is quieter than the Onan by 5 or 6 decibel. The vibration is noticeably less. I chose to mount this with a drop out tray for easy access or replacement. It weighs 101 lbs. 80 lbs less than the Onan. The battery in this unit connects with a standard 12v plug. This made connection to the RV battery bank easier. ... show more
