These shorts were just what I was looking for. Good fit, material, and comfortable. Then I noticed the hem, or lack of one. It’s like Champion had a ton of sweatpants they couldn’t sell so they took a pair of scissors and cut the legs off to make them into shorts. The hem on the ones I bought were already frayed out of the package (see photo). And they will just get worse with every wash. Returned them immediately.

I just received my 'BRAND NEW' shorts and what a "HUGH DISAPPOINTMENT!" I paid $25.00 per pair for shorts that are "CHEAPLY" made, and they are fraying at the leg openings! There is "NO SEAMS" whatsoever at the leg openings!. It looks like somebody took a pair of sweat pants and cut them at the knees with scissors. In other words, they are jagged! I guess they could be used for paint shorts, although that was obviously not my intention! The seller must be paying the buyers for their positive reviews! I highly recommend that you "DO NOT" purchase these shorts! You will surely be in for a "BIG" disappointment!

This has to be a new low in consumer goods -- shorts in which the leg openings aren't hemmed. Loose threads are already hanging down, and they haven't even been worn - much less run through the washing machine. At first I thought it was something a previous owner had "shortened" with scissors and then returned to Amazon. Or it could be manufacturing glitch, I thought - an item that somehow got out before being finished. But coming back here to the product page and seeing all the feedback, I realize that is isn't a mistake -- this is actually how the things are manufactured and offered for sale! Unbelievable! Off to the tailor's, I guess, to get them fixed, effectively doubling the cost to me for wearing this "brand name" product...

I almost love these shorts. One big flaw: The pockets are not deep enough. Pictured is an S8 Active in the pocket. It falls out. Two stars--I'm only able to wear these around the house. A shame, because they are great shorts otherwise. Fit, soft material, quality, comfort, style are five stars.

Great fabric, style and overall fit. Size chart was very inaccurate though. I probably would’ve purchased a XL instead of L. I wear 34-36 but prefer my casual shorts to be more loose. The size chart indicates “XL” as 38-40. I believe that “L” is more of a 33-35 rather than 36-38.

Shorts are great as far as fabric, fit, etc. Unfortunately... and maybe it's just "trendy"... there is no finish stitching at the bottom of the legs. Result? -- one washing, and the bottom of the shorts are fraying significantly. If that's the look you're going for... these may be for you. If you're looking for something that was actually finished, and will last a while without looking like you chopped off the bottom of some sweatpants, maybe look elsewhere. fwiw...
