I purchased these shorts in January for a trip to the Bahamas on my 80th Birthday, March 19th. I only wore one of the two shorts and was disappointed that the bottom of the shorts was just raw-cut material and wasn't hemmed. I didn't even wear the second pair as I intended to return them. When the first pair were washed for the first time, the material began to fray and lookunacceptable as can be clearly seen in the attached photo. I can't believe that Champion would sell a product that is guaranteed to fall apart after washing! They came with no hem. If it wasn't for the fact that they fit so well and feel good, I'd send them back. So will have to pay more to get them hemmed. Too bad! Great buy, will get more in different colors. fleece feels nice but can be a bit heavy/thick. not a bad thing just up to preference. 7inch seam is on the shorter side but i got nice legs so all good. perfect fit for the gym.
