The gray pants are comfy and true to size. I ordered XLT, definitely room for tall people. A good 3 inches or more extra. I ordered tall because I am 5'8" and I don't like feeling like I am wearing high water pants. The material is a cotton blend. I ordered the same in black. I am not thrilled with the black. Although I ordered XLT, they are NOT true to size. They are shorter and feel like low rise. The material is not soft. Although they are 100% cotton they feel like a rough material. I will not buy the black again but definitely going to get another gray pair.

Let me start with some basics: I'm male, 5ft 10", medium build and fit. I usually wear 32-34" waist, and 32" inseam in pants. I purchased these (MED) sweats looking for something to lounge/workout in, during cooler temps. When the package first arrived, these were very baggy, but comfy in the waist, and the legs were about 3 inches too long: (34-35 inches?) I washed them in 'hot', and dried them on 'high', and they now fit perfectly, with the bottoms right at what the Champion size chart says they should be, (31-32"). The legs, while still loose, aren't the "parachute" pants they were before washing, and the waistband is still comfortable. I had no issues with anything falling apart. I didn't use fabric softener, and the jersey cotton isn't quite as soft as fleece or a 'blend' would be... But so far, i'd buy them again. The 'weight' of the fabric is perfect, about medium thickness. I'm hoping future washes will soften the fabric further. Will update later. It's important to note the material the pants are made of: I purchased "steel grey", which are 90% cotton. The "Heather" dark gray is "60/40" blend, so the shrinkage will be much less. I'm going to purchase those in "small" and see what happens. "Navy" is 100% cotton, I believe... so pay attention to the cotton content, you'll get different results when washing. UPDATE-6/13/21: Received my SMALL 60/40 granite heather pants. They fit as expected, and feel softer than the mostly cotton varieties, but the length was about 33" instead of the advertized "31". After one wash/dry (hot)... They're still a little long by over 2 inches. Maybe they'll shrink more over time, maybe not... But It seems like Champion is just using the same length for every size. Stick with the cotton, and at least they'll shrink up to the proper size. (unless you're 6ft+, then stick with the poly blends, which won't shrink up.) The pic shows how much I had to cut off of the polyester version... AFTER trying to shrink them. (and that was the SMALL!)

This item is comfortable and nice bagginess to it. There not to thick or thin so durable enough to wear on many occasions. Got em in black with the basic C champion logo so they are versatile with different colors.

According to my Amazon history I've night these five times since 2022 - I've been a fan. The latest update (Aug 2024) is a disappointment. The waistband feels more cheaply made, the overall length is shorter and the pockets are shallower. I won't be purchasing these again.

I ordered a bunch of these in varying colors. I'm not a big Champion fan and don't think they make quality stuff, but I'm just using them to workout in and the price was right. I read that some have complained about the waist band not being comfortable. They are different from previous incarnations, but I don't have an issue with it. I also read that some have had the drawstring open in back (an obvious defect). The ones I received did not have that issue. I'm 6' 5" and ordered the XLT. They all fit perfectly and were consistent. One of the pair lost its stitching in the crotch area. That happens occasionally with just about any clothing, so I won't knock them. I'm handy with a needle and thread and fixed them in a few minutes.
