This Champion men's diamond quilted coaches jacket is made exceptionally well and of great quality. Its also nice in terms of its appearance, style, and design, but it is a thin for purposes of warmth. It can be closed using its zipper or the buttons on the front. The pockets are average size and have a zipper to keep such closed. There is an interior pocket, and the interior pocket is big compared to the other two pockets. The jacket itself is extremely lightweight and does not at all provide good warmth in cold weather. However, it provides excellent protection from the rain and water. Light and average rain bounces right off of it and does not penetrate or absorb into the fabric, but I think if the rain is very heavy then this jacket would get soaked and would not provide protection. So, its good for protection in light and normal rain, but not heavy rain. Given how well made this jacket is and it being lightweight and offering good resistance to rain/water, I highly recommend such to anyone looking for a spring or autumn jacket. While this could be helpful in winter and cold weather, its not thick enough to provide good warmth in very cold weather, so I would not recommend such for very cold weather (unless wearing a sweater underneath of such). It is comfortable and can easily be worn over sweaters, turtleneck shirts, and with scarfs. For all of these reasons, I have given it a rating of 4 stars.

It’s lightweight but will keep you warm. My husband loved it. It’s nicely made. Hey, it’s a Champion! The logo is embroidered, yet, on the small size. Jacket is comfortable and loose, to move freely. Man approved!

This Champion diamond quilted coaches jacket is made of a lightweight 100% polyester material. The material is relatively thin, uninsulated, and unlined, but it’s water resistant. It has both zipper and button front closures, with 2 zippered side pockets, and 1 zippered inside pocket. There are Champion logos on the left chest and the lower left sleeve. The sleeve cuffs are elastic. I really like the stylish collar, rather than a hood. The size L fits as expected, true to size. The fit is relaxed, very comfortable, but the length is just a tad bit short. The surf the web color is similar to a royal blue. The blue color is nice and vibrant, I’m very pleased with my choice of color. I don’t consider this to be a heavy jacket, but it’s certainly suitable for wear in fall weather. I will be wearing this stylish jacket often, particularly in windy or wet conditions, such as light rain. This jacket may not be heavy enough for cold winter weather, but it’s more than adequate for the fall weather in my area. Even without layering underneath, this jacket keeps me fairly warm. I’m very satisfied with the overall quality of this Champion diamond quilted coaches jacket. At $100, it seems to be a bit overpriced, but it’s a very nice jacket, nonetheless. I would consider this jacket to be a good value at price point closer to $70. It’s definitely an option worth considering, especially when on sale.

I have been stocking up on clothing for Fall & Winter months ahead. I thought this jacket looked sporty but also preppy and I liked the design of it. Sadly the quality is not there for me but the price likely reflects that. The fit is fine, very good actually but it looks and feels more like a shirt while wearing it than a jacket. The padding is very thin and while it does provide some heat and insulation it's not enough to warrant leaving a thick jacket or coat at home. On a dry Fall day when the sun is out but it's chilly this would be okay as an outer layer. I also find the nylon or polyester shell to look a little cheap and it's also very thin. The diamond quilting looks good and I like the subtle Champion branding. I would have given it more stars if it was more substantial.

I expected a wind breaker with how light this thing is. Well, it is that and keeps out the wind very well, but it also makes an excellent coat for chilly fall mornings. In the 20s and left me sweating after a run, this thing is TOASTY! The diamond weave is also very classy, I wouldn't say its a dress coat but for semi-formal outdoor events its served me well with a button up shirt.

I was really hopeful for this jacket but it's just a weird fit and not sure when I would reach for it. It's very light weight and not going to be for more than cool weather but then the jacket is still on the bulky side. The torso of the jacket feels like it's almost a size larger but then it's kind of tight in the shoulders and the sleeves are short but also loose. It's just a very odd fit. Material wise it seems fairly good and well made. There's really odd "pockets" on the inside of the jacket that are just open topped but super deep and no idea what they're intended for. Maybe it would be the right fit for someone but I'm not quite sure who.
