This is a nice, heavy weight sweatshirt. Bought for husband who loves the way it fits especially the loose fit around the waist. He says he likes that it’s not binding. Yes this is a real Champion product and extremely well made. Heavy weight fabric with the grain as shown, knit inserts just like the Champion products I bought in the 80's and 90's when Champion was king of athletic wear. Great to see that they are working their way back up the ladder. Color is more gold than the yellowish color I see on my monitor. I wear 44R in jackets and this is perfect in L with comfortable but not baggy fit. No defects whatsoever. Sleeve length is generous also. I can roll up the knit cuffs if I want to. It will release some color in the first wash so wash it alone and definitely dry it inside out the first time to get the fleece out or you will look like Big Bird after you take it off.

I ordered this sweatshirt in blue. I have the gray and love it. The gray is a heavy weight sweatshirt and perfect for cold weather. Unfortunately, even though the pictures are the same minus the color, what I received was a blue lightweight sweatshirt that looks nothing like the picture. Nor does it have the weight of the gray sweatshirt. But it did have the same cost. I don’t mind paying for something quality, but the blue sweatshirt is more like a lightweight cheap knock off. Very disappointing and not worth the money.
