This is a very durable garment. The "reverse weave" makes it stronger than a standard hood. Sides from underarm down have a section of thick elastic material for a comfortable fit and ease of movement. I work in construction, this is the second one I have. They last a long time and keep me warm. I can't really wear a bulky coat while I'm working so this is perfect even with additional layers underneath. I can still get a toolbelt around waist. Would recommend and buy again. Happy with purchase.

If you haven't ever had a Champion Reverse Weave sweat garment, you might not realize how bullet proof they are. They aren't lightweight so they might be too heavy for some folks, but they wear like iron. These garments will last many years. Get a size up if you plan on using layers with the hoody as the outer layer. If you are an outdoors person looking for a durable garment that's softer and more flexible than brown duck (like Carhartt fabric), this is a good choice. Sure, not as abrasion resistant as canvas or heavy nylon (Cordura), but still pretty tough and also provides reasonable wind resistance.
