I purchased these after having bought a Champion x Todd Snyder collab sweatshirt ($100 for one) that i promptly ruined with a splash of bleach. For that price I got three of these and don’t worry so much about stains or splashes. These are actually a bit lighter, but also softer and warmer than the more expensive one and it has the stitched neck V that i like. The only issue i have with them is the inconsistency in some of the details. I ordered both large and extra large to see what fit me best. I’m 6’ tall and 190lbs, slim athletic build. The XL seemed a bit large, and I don’t like baggy sweatshirts, but the L fit a bit snug and was tight across the chest. Previous reviews state these don’t shrink, but i figured they’d tighten up a little after washing - I wasn’t wrong. The Large became unwearable, and the XL is just right. I was amazed by the difference in size between the two though, see pics. It seems like a difference of two sizes instead of one. Anyway, they don’t really “shrink” but the fibers do tighten up after the first wash cycle, so just be aware of that. My biggest gripe is with the labels. The listing shows a label on the bottom front of the garment. These were present on the Large size, but all of the XL’s didn’t have it. Also the ones with the label had a greyed out Champion “C” on the sleeve, but the XL’s had the typical colored version. See pics. I was really hoping for the label, as i like that detail, but be aware you might not receive that. Also - these will leave heavy lint on your t shirts worn underneath until you’ve washed them a few times. It’s not an issue now, but was quite alarming when trying them on. Despite these minor things, they are really comfortable and warm shirts that look good. Definitely not rag-tag gym sweats.

I bought this sweatshirt for my 22-year-old son for Christmas. I am a cotton fanatic, so I have never been a fan of the 50/50 polyester/cotton blend fleece sweatshirts and sweatpants that makes up most of the market. I was excited to find this sweatshirt that is 80% cotton. My son normally wears a size Small (he's 5'11" and weighs about 120 pounds). When he tried this on, it was a tad bit large on him (I'd call it roomy) but not too bad (I bought him a Small), so we're keeping it. He loves the sweatshirt! It feels so soft, thick, and luxurious - it is worth every penny. He liked it so much that he wanted a couple more, so I bought him 2 more in different colors. This sweatshirt is beautiful, of high quality, and 80% COTTON. It is not lightweight, but it is not too thick either - it's just perfect.
