  • Perfect and not boring
I’m an Activities Director at a nursing home. This is THE BEST exercise video I have found. My residents love it too! It’s a great workout, not boring at all. All the exercises are seated and their are two elderly women in the video doing the exercises right along with Curtis. I love that because it shows my residents that these exercises are for older people and they can do it too. My residents are ages 85-97! Love Curtis! Keep making videos! ... show more

More difficult than the name implies and what several reviews indicated. Definitely a work out. True to description - it is all done from a chair. i liked the warm up and cool down features. Moves very quickly. I wish it was a little slower paced for someone who is just beginning/first time user.

  • Wonderful Workout
My senior group has only done this one time. We enjoyed it, but we admit it will take sometime to get all the moves down. It's fast moving, the instructions are easy to understand. I like the fact that the instructor counts it down for the participants. Would recommend this to any senior who wants an fast paced workout. ... show more

Curtis Adams makes these exercises easy to understand and his happy, positive approach makes them fun to do! They are not easy at first, but with repetition they are quickly learned and the results are great, working on every part of the body. My wife and I are in our mid 80's, do these exercises together and really appreciate the benefits they give us! ... show more

  • Fast paced, low-impact exercises
I found this a good way to get back into exercising after letting myself go for several years, particularly since I have several old knee injuries and was looking for low-impact exercises. Curtis' enthusiasm is infectious and he keeps up the interest and the pace. He's a great teacher. The exercises are targeted to various parts of the body, which was better for me than just walking on a treadmill or riding a stationary bike.   • Great program to build or regain stamina, strength
Even though all seated, this provides a surprisingly challenging workout for those in poor condition. The exercises def can raise heart rate, and are easy to follow. However, a certain amt of body awareness and coordination helps, as some exercises involve quite different upper body movements concurrent w/leg movements. It is a bit much for my 89 yr old mom tho hopefully, she will improve w/ repetition. The trainer is fun to watch too. ... show more

  • Easy to follow
I love this DVD. Curtis Is easy to follow. I am 58 and have knee problems. I cant walk for exercise like I used to, so this is perfect for me. I am thinking about getting some of his other DVDs as well.

Good 30 min aerobic chair workout. Has extensive “boxing” moves. Exercise was as I expected. Instructor is easy to follow.
