This drum hoist is a tremendous time saver. In the past, I would get a drum of off-road diesel and transport it home in my Jeep Gladiaator. Then I would transfer the diesel fuel in the drum on the truck bed to a drum on the ground by using a 12 VDC pump. It takes a long time and you never get all of the diesel fuel out of the drum on the bed by using that method. Enter the FITHOIST Chain Drum Lifter: Now I am able to fill a drum and by using my Bobcat front-end loader, I can transfer the drum to the ground in one easy step. No rolling of drums once they are off the truck bed. The lifter attaches securely to a 55 gallon drum in seconds and disconnects just as quickly once the drum is in position on the ground. Don't waste time with transfer pumps any longer!

I use a 55 gallon drum to store diesel for my tractor and side by side for use at my farm. Lifting and transporting the drum was quite a chore. This chain apparatus makes it very fast and easy. It is very secure and just brilliant to use. Using my tractor to place the drum on and off the trailer to refill and replace it into my barn is a breeze now! Much easier and safer so I recommend this item without reservation.
