  • Comfortable and Stylish
Size: 9 Color: Black
Love my regular Chacos and wanted an easy slide. I got so many compliments, I bought 3 colors. They’re very comfortable but if you’re looking for a more supportive footbed you’d be better served with a Birkenstock or similar footbed. As for durability, I wore my first pair into the lake several times and the strap broke through the rubber sidewall. Haven’t had any issues with my other pairs since I don’t get them wet. Can’t beat the value. ... show more

  • Excellent sandal for the money
Size: 9 Color: Outskirt Gray
I picked these up for less than $40, which is a real deal for Chaco sandals. They are a bit lighter weight than my wife's Chaco's but still well constructed and comfortable. I do suspect that their lighter construction will result in a shorter life expectancy but that's a trade-off I'm willing to make for the excellent price. ... show more

  • Not very durable. Not very durable.
Size: 13 Color: Black
If you want a high instep the sandle will probably be comfortable. I bought a size smaller than my normal shoe size and I still couldn't snug it up to make it not flop around. I wore them about 30 times and the strap pulled out of the sandle. There is no reinforcing in the sandle to handle the stress of your body weight on the strap if you get a little sideways on the sandle. I was expecting much more durability for the high price. I think it would be better to by some cheap Walmart sandle and replace them more often. These cost me more than a dollar a day. Bottoms barley worn but sandals useless ... show more

Husband loved them. Loved as in past tense, because the strap broke.

I love my Chacos it's made the way your foot is really supposed to sit I hate those tennis shoes you know they think the Hill's supposed to be a little higher and they wear them and where I'm going to start looking like it's exploding out the back end of your heel I don't like that one bit these are made nice the tacos I always get the man size because I got a wider foot than this girl's and it always fits me better if I get a man size now I have both the women too and the tacos and it fit perfect it was wide enough I don't know if I had to select medium or wide I can do medium I don't actually need wide but I don't need slim that's for sure but yeah I like the tacos they worth the money although the price is little pricey you know but I like to take care of my feet cuz you take care of your feet you got a better back ... show more

  • Excellent value for camp shoes!
Size: 10 Color: Fossil
This is the third pair of Chillos I’ve owned — and that’s only because I have lost the other two in backcountry hiking expeditions (user error, as it were). But I keep coming back to these — they’re perfect for sliding on once I get to camp, as they work with my pair of heavy wool socks, as they don’t have a connection between big and second toes to block. They’re perfectly light weight, which was a huge shock (and plus!) for me given how heavy Chacos normally are. And while they don’t have a ton of grip (not their primary purpose, I’d say), I have used them many times as great river shoes when I need to ford a river and want to keep my hiking shoes and socks dry (to avoid blisters). Plus — the price for these is unbeatable. Only gripe I will say is I have not figured out how to adjust the straps over the top. Maybe that’s something I could find on YouTube or on their website, but haven’t bothered to look because it’s not a huge distraction for me — might be something to pay attention to, if you have uniquely large or small feet, though. ... show more

  • Really Chacos? Really Chacos?
These were delivered yesterday and I loved them. I thought they were super comfy and were going to replace my crocs as my “whatever” sandals. I was wearing them around the house today and they broke. I wore them for a short walk yesterday and then for a couple hours today while working from home. I get that they are cheap sandals, but since they had the Chaco name, I expected more. I’ve always had a great experience with Chacos products, but these aren’t it. Don’t do what I did and light $28 on fire. Just buy a better sandal. ... show more

  • They're all right...I guess.
I bought these to have something easy and comfortable to wear around the house while I'm working from home. I have owned several styles of Chaco sandals and replace them without hesitation as soon as they wear out, which is rare considering the quality of all of their products. These are the first ones that I've owned that likely won't replace. There's nothing really WRONG with them, they just don't quite work as well as my other Chacos. What I don't like about them: - The foot bed is kind of weird. There is a slight texture to them, but they're kind of smooth so they don't feel completely secure on my feet when I take a step. My feet also sweat in them, which is something that doesn't happen with any of my other Chacos, at least not that I've ever noticed. I'm assuming it's because they don't have the same embossed diamond grid pattern as my other ones. I wear socks with them. Black socks with light-colored sandals. It's hideous, and I always change into something else when going out to check the mail or take out the trash because I don't want my neighbors to think that I'm "that guy"...but the ugly truth is, I'm wearing socks with sandals...so I am "that guy", I'm just not comfortable with it yet. - They're ugly. Black wasn't available when I ordered them, so went with what looked like a tasteful "Moon Stone" color. I wear a size 15, it shouldn't still surprise me that a shoe that looks really good in a size 10 in the photos ends up looking like clown shoes. The black socks aren't helping. - The adjustment strap doesn't stay where I put it. This is the only real complaint that I have with these shoes. I tighten them 4-5 times a day, and they always slip about 1/2". Not enough to be unwearable, but just enough to let my feet slide too far forward in the sandal. Occasionally when I look down and notice that my black-socked toes are hanging over the front of the sandal, it triggers a mini mid-life crisis and I have a fleeting urge to go put on real shoes, a nice shirt, maybe some pants, and go work out. But not enough of one to actually go do any of those things, so I just reach down and re-tighten them. What I like about them: - They've got that arch support that make Chaco sandals so comfortable. - Footbed is softer than normal Chaco sandals...so comfortable. - Really well made. I've been wearing them for a few months, and even with the softer material in the footbed, they're showing no sign of wear. - They're ugly. I mean, they're slide sandals. I've never seen a pair of slides and thought "that is some nice looking footwear!" I've decided to lean into it. If I had to do it over again, I would have ordered the neon green color instead of the tasteful moonstone color just be confrontational about how they look with my black socks. But still, I get a lot of enjoyment out of the look of disgust on my wife's face when she sees me wearing them. And, to be fair, I have a friend that has a pair, and they look completely fine on her normal-sized, well-manicured feet. ... show more
