Got this as a gift for my little sister. She likes to get into her “big sisters makeup”. So I bought this as a way for her to have her own “big girl” makeup set! It has worked amazing with her sensitive skin and wipes right off. Amazing! Recommend!!

My older daughter just turned 4 in January. Around Halloween time she got a new vanity and stool for her room and started becoming interested in makeup. I had given her one of my old makeup brushes to play with and she was thrilled. This girl LITERALLY packed the make up brush in her overnight bag to stay with grandma! 😂 Closer to Thanksgiving - Early December she informed Santa that she wanted some make up for Christmas. I thought, lord here we gooo. She has very sensitive skin and eczema, so do my other 2 children, my husband and myself unfortunately. So I was extremely nervous about what to get her. I checked out SO many different kids make up kids but for some reason kept coming back to this one. After reading the descriptions and reading reviews over and over again I decided, “well, we can at least give it a try. If it turns out to be not right for her, I’ll let her choose something else” it seemed fair enough. I haven’t even worn makeup myself in years, so I was clueless what to even get a 4 year old! I didn’t care for the mascara it came with personally, but maybe I was just afraid to poke her in the eye. I would never allow her to apply mascara herself at this age, so I did it for her. The Eye Shadow pallet it came with is ADORABLE it has soo many colors. I thought back to when I used to actually do my makeup and I would’ve loved to have that pallet lol! It washes off pretty easily with a soft wash cloth and warm water. The lip glosses are cute also, I like the tiny bottles they came in. I just wasn’t a huge fan of the colors for my daughter. They were more dark colors; which is cool, but she’s not a dark color type of girl. Regardless she liked how some were sparkly. It came with these eyeliner pens that we’ve never used. I don’t want to put that on her eyes. Mascara at the tips of her lashes is one thing, and easier to clean off without hurting her. But that’s just my personal preference. The hair chalk were cool! Some of the colors showed up in her hair really well, some of them didn’t. They probably all would’ve shown up, if she had blonde hair. But she has light brown hair with dark brown and dirty blonde streaks. So I can’t really say whether it works well or not without seeing it in lighter hair. I feel it would be unfair to say it doesn’t work, knowing her hair may be too dark for some colors to take. Overall I was pretty satisfied with this set. My daughter actually LOVED it. She was sooo excited when she opened it. She asks me to do her make up all the time. She even got her 9 year old brother do let her do his makeup and I was so shocked that he actually let her! ❤️ she hasn’t had any redness or breakouts or anything like that from any of the products I mentioned, but she has also never worn it on her face longer than a couple hours at a time before it gets washed off.
