This worked exactly like I wanted. I used it to put in my generator enclosure around the areas where the muffler and exhaust create the most heat since the enclosure is a resin shed. It is really easy to cut and easy to work with.

I use this when I do a chimney crown. I wrap the flues for a lil compression joint between the concrete crown and clay flue. After it cures I put silicone over top and seal it up. My only problem was it came all beat up and falling apart. Otherwise it's solid. It has worked pretty good for me

This is kind of overkill for my purposes but I am a little paranoid about fire. I am using this to build an enclosure for my generator to add some soundproofing to it, as well as a few other projects where I only needed a small piece to wrap around the hole where my diesel heater exists through the wall, and also to wrap around the outside of the diesel heater muffler to act as a bit of silencer. It all worked good! How My Star Rating System Works & What They Mean: 1 STAR - Pretty much junk and I would return and ask for a refund if I could. 2 STAR - It works, but barely meets the minimum requirements it should in order to keep it and not return it, but I would not order again. 3 STAR - It does what it was designed to do, but there's nothing really special about it. It's acceptable but not great. 4 STAR - I am very comfortable recommending it to a friend because it is is well made, durable, and delivers on its advertised features, and I would buy it again. 5 STAR - I really love it. The item exceeds my expectations of quality, durability and functionality. Not only would I purchase it again, but I would also actively encourage friends and family to do the same. All of my reviews are my own personal opinion and are completely honest no matter if I receive an item for free or I pay for it. I am using this to line a project box for my 3D printer. It was heavier and better quality than I was expecting, so impressed upon opening. Im very pleased with the size and quality of this fire wrap / insulation. This material is rated up to a temperature of 2300° and has countless uses. You can use this pretty much snywhere your imagination can figure out a place for it. It is foil backed with a spun fiber on the other side. The foil is durable.
