I live in a mixed household whose members are philosophical Buddhists, non-denominational Christians, and secular enjoyers of Christmas. It can make decorating difficult to make everyone feel included. Additionally, we weren't able to put up our regular Christmas tree this year because a stray cat had kittens in our dining room a few days after we adopted her and those kittens would have murdered our regular Christmas tree. We need a substitute smaller tree this year. This tree came out if the box ready to plug in after putting the star on the top. The cord with bulb at the end pops in and out of the bottom of the tree via a circular hole. Bulbs don't last forever, so it's good that changing them is so easy. This tree would look good with traditional christian Christmas decor or any of the many winter holidays. The all white tree with white bulbs gave it a very clean-lined and sleek Scandinavian holiday look, which I like since Christmas decorations can look a little busy. I've seen similar trees in the all white look at stores for over twice the price, if not more and they weren't even this large. The light is a comforting warm white and made an excellent nightlight. It would look absolutely beautiful in a little kid's bedroom as a nightlight during the holiday season. The craftmanship was very good. Everything worked properly and the pottery glaze on the outside of the tree had no blemishes. I'm thinking of buying a few more for gifts for my sister and cousins; our grandmother had a very similar ceramic Christmas tree and I'm sure it would be very nostalgic for them. The box and packaging the tree came in was extremely sturdy and I'll be using it to repack the tree before putting it into my large, plastic storage containers with the rest of my holiday decorations. I'm 100% happy with this ceramic "grandma" Christmas tree and would definitely buy it again!

So an update to this review- the company did email me and sent a new light. The light works well and the tree is beautiful. I’m very pleased. I wanted to update the review in case someone was in doubt like I was and worried that the tree would not be a good purchase. I also am uploading a picture. The tree has definitely helped take away the end of Christmas blahs. I have a red heart for Valentines on it and I intend to put a green clover at the top for Saint Patrick’s then I’ll be ready for spring and pack it away till next year. First Review-The ceramic tree is very nice and looks made well, but the light that goes inside to light it up and plug it in does not work. I tried switching light bulbs and still it doesn't light up. Now I either need a new light plug from the company or I'm stuck purchasing a new light plug myself. The tree was not cheap! For over $50.00 dollars the light that comes with it should work! I've messaged the company, but the reviews are iffy for this company so I'm not sure if I'll hear back from them or not. Problem is I like the tree, so I really don't want to send it back, but I also don't want to have to purchase a light up plug for the tree and spend more money.

The Christmas tree came well wrapped and in perfect condition. It works perfectly and looks just beautiful lit up on the table I will put it on for Christmas. I love it. Perfect size for me and my cottage. This is a revision of above review which is correct. I displayed it the day after Thanksgiving. It was lit vote about 4 hours when the lightbulb burned out. After trying a new bulb I realized the whole plug wire was defective. Since I purchased this many months ago I figured I couldn't get a replacement so I put 2 sets of fairy lights in the tree which light the tree perfectly for me. I can now use my remote to turn it on and off. The tree looks very pretty and I'm very happy !!

I grew up admiring a white ceramic Christmas tree my BFF's mom displayed every year. I decided to see if I could find one and located it on Amazon. It is very similar. Her's had gold speckles on the edges which this ine doesn't. I chose the large size. I wouldn't want a smller one. I read some reviews ahead of time stating that the upper lights weren't as bright as the lower ones. All the lights on my tree are perfectly lit. It is just beautiful. It also comes in a nice size box that I can keep it in when the season is over. However, I might just keep it out for the winter. I am so thrilled I bought it.

I loved it, but the one I received was defective in that it was missing a light on one of the branches. It had an indentation of where it should have been, so I think it just didn’t get punched through the ceramic completely during manufacturing so they just glazed over it. It wasn’t noticeable during the day but when it was lit up, it was pretty noticeable. I would have just turned that side to the back if I could but the base has only slot for the cord to run through so if I turned it around the power cord would have come out the front.

Box came damaged, tree was not damaged but it was missing the electric cord as well as the star on top. Appeared to maybe have been a return. Box is almost impossible to ship back.
