If you are looking for a high quality, unique vase look no further! The black is truly beautiful and goes with almost any decor. It has a textured paint which provides extra grip, as well as visual interest. I like that the bottom is weighted so it won’t tip easily either.

This listing is accurate in terms of size and that it is ceramic, but it says nothing about the texture. The texture is extremely rough, almost like sandpaper. In the picture it looks textured, but not like it would be as scratchy as it is. The black glaze does not coat the inside of the vase either, it looks almost as if it’s bare ceramic on the inside, which means water is very likely to seep through the bottom and leave water rings. The bottom is just as rough and would easily scratch most surfaces. I got this to serve as a chopstick/straw holder on my kitchen counter, and for that purpose, it’s okay, but the roughness makes me think it’s going to scratch off any finish on the chopsticks as well as the countertops. May wind up coating the inside in resin and putting felt on the bottom to avoid any scratching. It was well packaged in several layers of bubble wrap so I received it in perfect condition with no cracks. Overall, I’m on the fence with this item. It *looks* really nice for the purpose I got it for, but the texture and half-glaze is really knocking this item down for me. ... show more

I like very simple decor and not a lot of color. This fits perfectly with my style. I did leave it with pampas so I can’t say what water would be like inside it. It is very well made! Recommend for a simple yet beautiful way to display flowers!
