This is brighter than another motion light I have on my shed in my backyard. I use it to give light to a corner of the side of my house. Now when my dog walks towards that direction it lights up and I can see her. Or anything that comes into my yard along the side of my house. This has 3 programs which I only use it for motion. I have no use for the other programs that will have it stay lit albeit dim. The only thing I guess I didn’t like was that I had to remove the adjustable head to screw the Mount to a post. The way the screw is positioned it’s not possible to drill pilot holes for the screws or even use a screwdriver. Not a big deal but still not as simple as the other motion light I do have. I used the 2nd setting so it's on low intensity and when the motion sensor activates it quite bright. I am using it in the back yard. Because its 3 lights which are adjustable the range is good. I have used these lights for several weeks now and all 3 work great. I installed 2 of them with the solar cell attached, and one detached. The installation was very easy. The motion sensor is very reliable and actually is a good alert for me that my killer puppies are ready to come back inside. Put one in my garage with the solar panel outside and the other outside my garage. Figured it was a descent light when i got it out of the box and tested how bright it was. Installed it outside and was very suprised when it turned on that night and seen how bright it is out there! Great price for a double set of lights. Mounted them to the side of house and on a fence facing an alley. I chose the setting where when it gets dark they light up at a low setting and upon detecting motion, they come on bright. These lights are extremely bright. They have three settings, 1. Off until motion is detected then bright, 2. Always on Dim until motion is detected then bright, 3. Always on dim with no motion detection. They are easy to setup. Just mount and let charge.
