I needed a new pair of water shoes for aqua exercise, and chose these for the non-slip soles and firm Velcro closure. If I was ordering again, I would go a size down, as these water shoes are quite roomy. They stay on during vigorous exercise, thanks to the Velcro strap, and are wide enough to accommodate my broad feet without chafing - unlike some of my previous shoes. These shoes would be perfect for hopping over volcanic rocks or coral in exotic locations, or even walking on pebbly beaches, due to their thick well-ridged soles. These shoes are comfortable. There is some padding. They are a little wide. However, with the Velcro it can be adjusted so they don’t slide. I can’t wear other styles due to a high instep.

I just got these today. Tried them on and was amazed with the perfect fit, quality, how light they are and how cute! They are the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn. I am obsessed! Can’t wait to try them out next week on a camping trip. Will update if anything changes.

I was really excited for these and really wanted them to last, but I was only able to get a few uses out of them. They’re super cute and comfy and I thought they worked well for my needs. I used them on my paddleboard at the beach and even brought them on vacation for more intensive activities like hiking and canyoneering. The grip on the shoes is okay and they’re definitely not made for hiking but they worked fine for me. The major issues I have that led to me no longer using them include: - The inside soles keep coming out of the shoe and shifting, leading to pinching and discomfort wearing them. - I can’t get the sand out of them! I’m talking a huge volume of sand that I’m not even sure where it came from. I spent days trying to get the sand out once they were dry including: shaking them, hitting them against each other, using a vacuum, and more. But the sand kept coming. Even weeks and months later, I can’t pick them up without more sand coming out. They also weren’t secure enough on my feet and were pulled off my feet by the suction of the sand and water a few times. This could be a sizing issue though so maybe size down if you do order these. I think these could still be a good fit if you don’t use them for any intensive activities and don’t mind the endless sand coming from them. ... show more
