Description

The CENTERPOINT bullet drop reticle is the simple and effective answer to eliminate hold-over estimating. It takes the guesswork out of aiming to provide pinpoint long range accuracy. By matching ammunition ballistins to the placement of the crosshairs on the TAG reticle, the need for estimation and lengthy calibration is eliminated. Once your distance is established, simply place the pre-calculated aiming points on your target for a precise shot. The TAG reticle accommodates distances out to 600 yards and is factory calibrated for the most popular bullet/load combinations. The bolts used to attach it to the rifle are nowhere near where my mounting bracket is. I have a Savage Axis 7mm-08 and the scope barely had enough length to be attached. The read plate is 75% floating off of the plate. I am just hoping it stays in place.

I do not recommend this scope and have to return it. First I want to say, I own a few other centerpoint scopes that work well and I had high hopes for this one. This scope is ok in full sun but when sunlight fades target image becomes foggy as the lenses do not collect light well. Eye relief is long enough but hard to find the right spot where the target image is fully visible. At 14x and below magnification the scope is just ok ...At max or near max magnification target image is very foggy and my eyeball has to be at pinpoint location or the target image is not visible. This makes me believe that all the problems I listed point to poor lens alignment or just a bad scope overall. Reticle illumination is way too bright= bad. ... show more

About the only thing I liked was the reticle. The scope had a very stiff windage adjustment so it was returned before used. The elevation adjustment is smooth. Probably a defect. The image is clear but noticable fish eyed like looking through a door peep hole. The illumination is too strong imo compared to the other cheap scope illumination reticles. Also worth mentioning is the space for adjustment of the scope rings. There's a short amount of space for adjustment of the rings back and forth onto the rail. For example the scope can't be used on a long throw bolt action with the two-piece base. The Scopes length simply will not allow for the rings to be pushed far enough to mount to the two-piece base on a long throw rifle. The scope rings are generic they are Weaver rings which means they'll fit on either Weaver rails or picatinny. One more thing when looking into the scope you'll notice there is a plastic ring for lack of a better word which reduces your sight picture even further. It's just a really wonky feeling hard to explain. For the price in my opinion there are far better options look into CV live oh hunt or Pinty. Any of those Scopes are better than this one. The only advantage is the lifetime warranty. ... show more

The scope is being used on a pcp air rifle, Hatsan .25 Bullboss. It has a clear sight picture and the twenty power brings small targets in close. The scope is light and works as advertized. Used it on a bolt action 223 to see if it would hold up and it worked flawlessly. Over power for a 223 but I purchased it for air rifle. The adjustable focus works well as a rangefinder however at 20 power the rangefinder was off which I expected, anything past 10 power the rangefinder is not designed for that. Overall the scope and included rings are well worth the money. It is not a Hawke sidewinder which I have on my better PCP Air Rifles, but I didn't see putting a $600 scope on a middle range rifle. The scope has held zero. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the cheap scope lense cover, it does not even fit close to being snug which will let dirt and debris get in the lense. ... show more

This is a good scope for the money. Unfortunately it comes with a set of rings but they are not high enough for the 50mm size. The front of the scope rests on the picatinny rail and you cannot level properly. Plus you cannot get the dust cover on either as there is no room at all. You Have to spend another $15 for higher rings and waste time figuring thisboutbthe hard way. This needs to come with higher rings to avoid frustrating customers ... show more
