I wear size 9, and although these fit, my high arches were crying after taking a few steps! The heel+thong was a horrible idea, for my foot shape evidently. Cute, but horrendous for a high instep and arch. I wear heels regularly. I wear flip flops regularly, without any problems. Together as one, my right foot felt literally broken at the arch, after 10 steps.

I’m a true size 10 (not wide, but not narrow either), and these fit me well right out of the box. The 2.5-inch kitten heel is a great height—it gives a little lift without feeling too high or hard to walk in. The square toe design is a nice touch and doesn’t feel cramped, which makes a big difference for comfort. The thong strap is soft so far and hasn’t caused any irritation, though I haven’t worn them for extended periods yet. These sandals have a lot going for them including a square toe with real footbed room, a surprisingly sturdy little kitten heel, and a firm sole that doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. At 150 lbs I felt well-supported from the ground up. The overall construction is solid. The catch is the geometry. The dip from heel to toe sits further forward than I'm used to, which throws off the fit a bit. Underneath the arch there's essentially nothing. In fact, there's a visible gap on the underside of the shoe right where I want contact and support. So if you have high arches, this will likely be uncomfortable pretty quickly. If you have low arches or flat feet, you might find this works just fine. Style-wise, the combination of a firm squared-off front and a delicate heel reads as a sort of elevated flip-flop, but in a good way. They'd look sharp peeking out under wide-leg or bell-shaped pants, or with fitted jeans where you want a little lift without committing to a real heel.

I usually avoid thong-style heels because they can rub between the toes, but the cushioned strap on these feels soft and didn’t cause blisters for me.
