I was pleased enough with this tie that I ordered two more! Good looking soft wool blend fabric in a well made, narrow necktie. Several reviews mention that these are hard to tie. It is to be expected that wool will not tie as easily as silk, not make sharply formed knot. Use a simple knot aka Oriental Knot or Four In Hand. Tie as close to your neck as you can manage, tighten and position gently, a little at a time. Looks great with a vest or v- neck sweater. When loosening use the same approach, gradually work the knot loose. Fold your wool tie flat. "Really good" wool ties will have liners and finer stitching, and be a bit easier to handle and keep in shape, but will cost at least 6X what these go for. I would much rather have a few colors to choose from, and with these I can!

This tie is durable, classy and teenage friendly. First off, he loved it.....so much so that when he came home I cringed watching him roughly untie it and yank it off his shirt collar. It ended up in the wash with the rest of his clothes, I hung it to dry and was no worse for wear!

This tie is a winner with its muted herringbone pattern that lends itself to a variety of uses. More than blending, it actually enhances a muted-check, brown sport coat of mine. The tie’s wool also has the classy feel of cashmere.

The tie is a little thicker than most, because it's made of wool. The wool gives it a unique aesthetic though, maybe more fitting for winter or fall. Overall, it's pretty easy to tie (the wool isn't crazy thick). It is kind of hard to get a small flat knot though, so if you want a small flat knot aesthetic, maybe get a tie made with a different material. Overall, I recommend the tie. The material seems to be high quality, and it's quite soft. The color looks good.

It's a fine-looking tie. The wool is a little stiff for my liking, but no big deal. It's a little thick when it comes to tying, but that's to be expected with a wool tie as well. My beef is with the way the tie was assembled. It has some fairly large bumps in it where it should be smooth- presumably from where the seams were sewn. They cause the tie to not lay flat, and they can't be ironed out as they're not wrinkles, but clumps of material that are essentially sewn in. Bit of a bummer on what would otherwise be an excellent accessory.
