Most of it is material cats don't scratch. I gave it two stars instead of one because it's nicely made and cute. But only two because it's not functional, so I total waste of the Earth's resources.

The scale of the stock photos is completely off! The toy is tiny, my eight week old kitten may be able to use it for another week, she towers over the mushroom and she is not a large kitten at all! The scratch posts are much too short for her to get much use out of in comparison to the cat tree next to the mushroom… I ended up returning it, it’s too bad they didn’t make it a little bit larger because it is absolutely adorable! ... show more
