Originally I had given this a lower rating because I was experiencing a couple issues with the compressor, but shortly after I posted that review, the seller actually reached out to me and offered me a replacement that arrived not even 2 days later. After using the new one for about a week now, I can honestly say I am beyond impressed with the quality of the airbrush. For $80 you get a really well built air brush, and convenient solution to a compressor. Rather than have to plug in to the wall and have a hose dragging on the floor, this kit allows you to use the compressor directly on the brush or in your pocket with a short hose leading up to your hand. This makes it super convenient if you do not have a dedicated work area for your painting. Additionally, the swappable batteries are perfect, if you run out of power, you can simply plug in the spare and continue to spray. Each battery gives you approximately one hour of spray time, and takes about an hour and a half to charge via the included USB C cable. The pressure on this system is perfect for my use, it sits at about 20psi which works fine for everything I have put through it (Vallejo, Tamiya, Mr.Color, Citadel) however, if you try to spray any primer, you will get a rougher coat because the pressure simply is not high enough to put down an even coat. The clean up is also very easy, you can take apart the airbrush pretty smoothly since all of the parts are machined really well and easily screw into each other. I was able to get everything clean and stored away in a few minutes which was pretty surprising. I can honestly say I would buy this product again if I had to and feel comfortable doing so because of the support I have received during all of this. If you are looking for a good entry point into airbrushing, this combo kit is definitely worth the try if you don't to spend $200 on an "entry level kit"

I purchased this primarily for the compressor as I don't have a space to have my airbrushing equipment permanently set up and setting up and putting away the compressor is my least favorite part of the ordeal. Upon first use I tried it with the airbrush it came with and my Badger 105 Patriot and was very happy with the results. I was immediately in love, and surprised with the airbrush too even as it seems to be pretty good for detail work. Unfortunately the compressor only lasted 4 sessions. On the 5th I needed to just prime a few models but was hardly getting any paint actually coming out the nozzle. Swapped air brushes, same thing. Now I admit to not being easy on my airbrushes and it's not impossible that both of them needed a cleaning so that's what I did, but it didn't help. Finally I pulled out my standard compressor as and just like that everything worked like it should again. Seems like the compressor couldn't maintain it's working PSI which is an absolute shame. Kept a second star for the surprisingly decent airbrush that came with it but I will likely be seeing if they will replace the compressor on the chance I just got a did, and if that's the case I'll update the review. Update: The seller actually reached out to me in response to the review before I got around to contact them. They were very quick to send a replacement with no hassle whatsoever. So far the replacement is all good. Will update if this one fails similarly as the first, but so far the product is great and so is the Seller's support.

This is a surprisingly decent system. My main concern was whether or not the compressor would work instantly upon pressing the airbrush trigger, however when you release the trigger, the compressor runs just long enough to pre-pressurize the airbrush for the next trigger press, which then provides an instant air supply. The air valve senses when the trigger is off and causes the compressor to stop, saving battery power. It then starts immediately once you press the trigger again. The system can be used with or without the included braided hose, allowing one to place the compressor in your pocket or nearby table. The .3mm needle & nozzle set provided the highlights in the images shown above. The nozzle requires use of the included wrench in order to be removed & cleaned, however backflushing will clean small clogs with no problem. Two included lithium-ion batteries are 1600mah each and a charge lasts for about 30 minutes of continuous use. The extra battery is handy to use while the other is being recharged, allowing a continuous workflow. An airbrushing beginner would find this system easy to use & to learn the skill with. An experienced airbrush artist would find the .30mm needle useful for fine detail, as the airbrush itself seems to be of surprisingly good quality and reliable with little clogging. The pics shown were done with Createx paint, so a little thinner (about 10-15%) may be necessary. Backflushing & cleaning is as easy as any other airbrush, save for having to use the wrench - but that's easily overlooked, given the performance. Hence the -1 star for cleaning. It would be unfair to call this system 'cheap Chinese junk', as it has proven itself to be just as useful & reliable as my higher & midrange guns, e.g. Badger, Gaahleri, etc. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and this airbrush will occupy a slot next to my other airbrushes and will likely be used on a regular basis. I'm looking forward to decorating my neighbor's interior wall using the portable compressor, as I've been asked many times to do just that.
