I've never seen that before. An airbrush device that can be transformed into all possible color supply variants. I spray most things with the cup on top. But there are always situations where you need more color and then the device is very helpful. It doesn't matter whether it's a side spray or a suction system. The 0.3 mm nozzle produces a very fine spray pattern - something I would not have expected in this price range. This gives you a wide range of possibilities in terms of paint choice. I simply installed an existing plug-in nipple and I was able to connect the device to a quick coupling. The device seems very long at first, but after a few minutes this was no problem at all and I was able to focus on creating my motif. UPDATE: The seller reached out after reading my review and wanted to make things right. They sent a second unit which, after testing, appeared to have none of the issues present with the first item. As such, it serves as an excellent quick-test unit when I want to try something but don't want to get my whole fancy kit out. For the functionality, and for the sellers follow-through, I am revising my 2 Star review to 5 Stars. At the end of the day, the seal between the needle and the nozzle wasn't good. The airbrush worked, but it would always be letting out small amounts of liquid and sometimes that would really cause of issues. It wasn't spraying everywhere and took a little bit to notice, but definitely makes it sub par for the price for any real precision work. I'd buy something better like a cheaper Masters brand (see picture for comparison to Masters). Pros: - It looks neat with the red metal accents and the cutout. - It has a tightening nut on the end to adjust the range of action on the trigger, which I imagine can be pretty helpful and doesn't seem to be an option on most cheaper airbrushes. - It has the options for different feed mechanisms, which might be nice, but only the gravity feed one is useful for my purposes. - The air control valve might be useful depending on what you like to use the brush for Cons: - A huge con is that it isn't sealed well as mentioned at the start, which makes it not very usable for any real art, but maybe I'll try it for cakes or body paint or something. - The front is a little heavier and longer to accommodate the big rotating modular piece. This also makes the gravity cup stick a little far off of the brush. - The gravity feed has a couple quirks. Since it is a 90 degree angle, it's a little less convenient if you like to look into and mix paint in the cup. Because it screws down into the modular piece you have a really narrow chamber before the needle so you have to do some more back blowing than normal to mix with the thinner. ... show more

I had an old airbrush that was past its prime, so I though I would gice this a try. I was not disappointed! The quality is what you would expect from a high quality airbrush, and the nozzle, and canisters work well together without any leaks or fuss. Airbrushing is a new method/medium in my artist's repertoire so my experience with the wide variety of kit and equipment is limited to a few. I've collected 3 different air brush units and this one is the smoothest and most deft of movement of the trio I have. Each one has its own little attribute or aspect that is noticeable from the others, but this one seems to feel like the widest range, most useful. Over the long-term we'll see how it plays out after a number of pieces to see how the 3-way head-to-head shakes out. ... show more

I got this for my middle son, who is always doing some kind of work on vehicles and likes doing detailed work at times, which this could be very useful for in some situations. Years ago, when I worked in some automotive repair shops, I encountered air brushes many times, though I never used them myself. This one does seem to be of good quality, (without actually using it). I like the different choices for paint cups, makes it easy to find the right one for the job you're doing at the time. The sprayer itself seems very thin, some people might find it difficult to hold on to. It's definitely much thinner than any I ever encountered previously but, I'm certainly no expert on air brushes though. Based solely on what I can tell without actually using it, I'd recommend giving it a try if you have need of an air brush. The one star reduction is based solely on the slim size. ... show more

Just a heads up, I had an old badger brand airbrush hose, it did not fit this airbrush. I went ahead and ordered a regular hose and it worked great. It comes with instructions which are helpful if you aren't sure how to get things moving on your airbrush, even though this is very simple to use. I really wanted to try gravity-fed as I have a siphon already. Once I got my hose, I was up and running very quickly. Just twist and add the the paint reservoir of your choice and this airbrush comes with a lot of options. I like that you have more on demand adjustments to how intense your spray is by moving the trigger back. It's just a nice feature you often see on more expensive airbrushes and one that I hadn't experienced yet. I think this would be a great airbrush for someone without a lot of experience and who is interested in trying it out. I'm pretty much just a hobbyist that needs to paint from time to time. ... show more

I am a jewelry artist and maker and I do a lot of airbrushing for antiquing and finishing ~ I don't need a top of the line airbrush for such things ~ but I still need something that is dependable and precise enough for my purposes. This Airbrush does the job quite well! I mostly use Gravity Feed ~ and this Airbrush offers that along with removable gravity feed cup so I can put a larger cup on when needed... but it's also nice to be able to rotate the front part of the brush and use Siphon Feed ~ that' a clever trick I wish more Airbrushes offered! ... show more
