I've run full synthetic oil for many years and find that Castrol Edge has served me well. I change it every 5K miles, whether it's "extended performance" or not. My Acura TL has 289,000 miles on the engine and still runs great and doesn't smoke at all. I believe the more frequent oil changes and use of very good filters is why the car has that kind of mileage,yet still runs great I use it in 2 other cars and have had no issues. One has 158,000 miles and the other now has about 126,000. I'm happy with the oil and it's priced very reasonably. I’m not gonna sit here and say anything crazy. It was a cheap price, and the oil is synthetic and I will use it for a strong 10,000 miles.

    • Keeps My Toyota Running Like a Champ!
This is the synthetic oil I’ve been putting in my Toyota since the first oil change and it seems to work really well. The engine runs smoothly. It does a great job of lubricating the valve train and also keeping the gaskets supple, as evidenced by the lack of oil on spark plugs, coils, or other components near the oil. And even at nearly every 10,000-mile mark, it’s still nice and gold (I still change it at this point, but it is impressive just how clean it keeps the engine running). ... show more
