Comfy. Size up.
Fit tight. Definitely size up if you are in doubt because they will STILL be tight. They are the most comfortable bike shorts I’ve owned. I never thought I would be comfortable with such a thin pad but it is incredibly dense and comfortable. My longest ride in them has been 100 miles with no comfort issues. I’ve raced one half Ironman and love them. They definitely are as comfortable as my DeSoto 400 mile shorts. Incredible shorts BUT... ...runs small.
These are incredible. I read all reviews before purchasing and even ordered an XL whereas I am an L in virtually everything. The XL’s were even tight. I have a 2 pairs of Zimco’s that are also XXL, so perhaps this is a short-specific conspiracy! Regardless, these are very nice and I am up-sizing.

Great Tri Shorts - Run 1 Size Small
Awesome shorts, dry quickly, pockets are a little odd as they are on the front of hip and not on the back like most tri shorts. As with all things Castelli, they run small. At least one size, maybe two. Find a Castelli size chart and if in doubt go up to the next size. Does not matter what you wear in another brand. ... show more

Needs Improvement
Few issues: A) Inner inseams in the front create chafting while running. B) Chamois do not bend in the middle creating uncomfortable experience. C) No drawstring. D) Way too small

Great quality, uncomfortable fit
Be sure to order a size up because they run small. Nice short, great quality but not very comfortable. I found the bike-padding to be excessive and uncomfortable. I also didn’t like the “meshy” part of the short at the bottom of each leg. It was a bit loose around the leg and not form-fitting.
