I absolutely love that is is cast iron. I use this to put out all the incense I don’t like!! ;) And unlike all my other stands it doesn’t scorch/or mark up, nor does it pop the ends of the stick everywhere! Instead it just does what it’s supposed to & acts as a bowl should! I just luv this thing! Agreed tho, Yes it’s a little smaller…. but for 6 bucks it’s a real steal! It’s cast iron! So for the quality for this low price, I just luv it! The only thing that could Definitely be better in my opinion, is that it it REALLY needs another leg to be stable. With just the 3 legs, I’m continually knocking this thing over…. Again & again & again!!! All in all tho, as you can see in other’s videos & pic’s; This is a great cast iron mini smudge, incense, sand, offering bowl… or w the lil piece being used (which I normally don’t, it can be a very small stick stand etc etc) But no matter what you use it for. The fact is, you will probably end up using this thing more than a lot fancier stuff… and that’s why I love it. I have even bought another one for my teen who loved mine so much! So now I am thinking I will be back to get 1 or maybe even 2 more for my sister & her kid too. They make terrific gifts for people who like incense since they r a great deal for the price. A teensy bit smaller than I was expecting, but it’s the perfect size for a small smudge stick. I love that the incense stick holder part is removable. Best to use smaller sticks or cut long ones down (the handle part). If using charcoals, use small ones, like 1”x1” in a bed of sand or salt. The round hookah ones will fit but will probably generate too much heat for this little thing to be safe on many surfaces or to pick up with your bare hands should you need to move it. Even with smaller charcoals it generates a fair amount of heat, so make sure it’s on a heat-safe surface. Overall I’m happy with this!

The only drawback is that the metal insert appears to have a slight casting imperfection, leaving a small ridge underneath that prevents it from sitting perfectly flush in the holder. It’s a minor issue and not significant enough for me to return it, but it does make the incense sticks sit a bit crooked, which is noticeable during use. Aside from that, it’s an attractive and functional piece, and I’m still happy with the purchase.

I really love this incense holder and is made very well. There is a very small 3 holed piece you set into in to hold your incense sticks that is not attached. I lost it 😐 but I still use it for cones. Im going to have to buy a new one.

Works perfect with the cones or incense sticks

Falls over when one incense stick is placed and it still falls over when multiples are added to help balance product. Also, doesn’t catch all the ash due to the product being too small.
