Out of the three HEM boxes I purchased, this would be my favorite. First off, let me state that this vanillia scent is more along the lines of styrax which is a tree sap, used as incense for ages. This is not the bourbon vanilla bean scent that people may be used to, but it is a good scent. Styrax also has a sort of chemical scent, despite being a tree sap, which this HEM vanilla has that same undertone, which makes me suspect this is what these are made with. Especially since real vanilla bean is very expensive. Either way, whether completely chemical or made with some type of tree resin, these smell vanilla like an peaceful. I would and will buy this specific type again, as you can not beat HEM's prices for a box this large. ... show more
