  • Excellent Choice
I watched dozens of reviews for digital pianos. You can pay less and not get weighted keys or the sound quality. Might get some flashing lights though? As a beginning player I did not want to invest over a thousand dollars. I also believe the level of improvement you would get for paying more is not worth it. The surface textures were a surprise. It feels great to the touch. The Knox Gear Heavy Duty Z-Style stand works well with it. ... show more

  • This has great sounds for the Dollar, 64 generators. It also Has the Heaviest Action of All.
This keyboard has great sounds, Small size and Weight and the controls are set up for several banks you can set up for stage changes...these do seem to load a little slow, but if you are on say a Grand piano, turning the knob switches to the next sound quickly while your bank of presets takes perhaps 5 seconds to change tones when picking sounds this way? Casio pianos seem to have the heaviest weight action of all electronic piano actions I have tried...the first night I used this was the day it came and I really felt it in my Carpal wrist area... Something that often afflicts Concert Pianist on real grounds. This also only has a 1/8" headphone size main audio out and no old-style midi connection that I will have to research and adapt to. The heavy action is the only question about this purchase for me...and if my wrists can endure it. The keys have a textured touch that many like...not sure if it is a positive as of yet. This keyboard is very lightweight to carry and a fitted bag should work fine. It does have a transpose that I plan to use universally for moving C up 1 octave on all patches. ... show more

  • Extreme versatility!
This digital piano is AMAZING. Within the 700 tones to choose from there are a lot of really good synths and just about every instrument you could need to play. One thing that I didn’t like was that you need a special adapter to connect your iPad to use Chordana play to follow along with this MIDI files. The sustain pedal gets the job done but because of how small it is, it moves around a lot. Very loud piano and it does not take up that much space in my room! ... show more

  • Keys are a little soft
Eighth inch stereo jack output :( When you select "groups" of sound banks, you can select patches that go out of the group, rather than start at the beginning of the "group" or bank. For example, select pianos, and assent your patch until you move into a different group. I would prefer to go back to stage piano upon reaching the limit of the "group" or bank. I have a real piano so I'm a little picky, but this is nowhere near a high quality weighted key controller. It's too soft. It's like a weighted synth. You'll get used to it, but not as good as some of the others. The angle for the "sheet music stand" is too much forcing you to pull the piano toward you too much just to get the music stand inserted. It's still a great value for the money. Perfect for a home studio but leaves a little to be desired for gigs. It comes with one demo and a bunch of really bad built in tunes. Again, the sounds are pretty good! It's definitely playable. and for $600 bucks, it's a good value. A little heavy, but not too bad. ... show more

  • It delivers on all promises. Love it.
This thing is Amazing. They call it a beginners keyboard but you'd never know it. Excellent product.

  • I love it!
While I have been learning on a keylab 49, this piano is like owning the real thing! Without devoting the space and money needed. (I dated a girl with her own grand piano in her apartments, she moved it twice) I realise I am still learning and could have got a lesser model to save some money but the 700 built in tones and the clarity is totally worth it IMHO! And battery powered so you can take it to a friend's evening get together. A hard case is nearly the same price as replacing it though :( so I kept the box to keep my baby safe. ... show more
