  • Very soft and comfortable sheath ...
Color: Soft Brown
First impressions when I took it out of the package is that it was very nice and classic made - leather is very soft and subtle and I believe it will work for a variety of different medium size knives that I own - I have always just stuck knives like this with no pocket clip into my pocket with no worries but seems often I find myself looking around the house for where I misplaced my knife only to find that it had slipped out while sitting in my chair or couch - never thought I would be a sheath guy but this one is small, light and you barley notice that you have it on your belt - for the peace of mind of not having to worry about losing my knife while out in public where it will be gone forever is worth it to me - also, I now can free up a bit more precious room in my front pocket for other uses - the Case Sodbuster is the knife shown that I carry in it now - they are around 3.5 inches long and fits great - being a fatter/wider knife it works well and can unbutton and grab with ease - I tried putting the Case Copperlock in it as well ... it’s about the same length as the Sodbuster and it will work ok - that knife is a little slimmer so it sinks into the sheath a bit more than the SB and the tip shows just above the top of the sheath and it’s a little slicker to grab onto and definitely takes a bit more effort to get it out - so it should be fine for 3.5” knives though some will work better than others - most others up to around 4” should fit great ... but again it all depends on the width - overall it’s a great little sheath for the money - time will tell how it holds up but I imagine it will age like a great leather wallet over time - I hope they make one like this in black someday ... show more

  • READ THIS IF YOU HAVE QUESTION ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT YOUR KNIFE WILL FIT!
Color: Tan
EDITED FOR CLARITY: THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE CASE SIDE-DRAW SHEATH. NOT THE STANDARD SNAP-TOP SHEATH THAT KEEPS SHOWING UP IN THE PICTURES> Let me say first, this sheath is well made, sturdy, looks decent and seems like it will last a long time. Stitching is good, and the leather is good as well. You don't need to have any reservations or concerns about the quality of this sheath. That said, my primary reason for writing this review is to help people figure out whether or not there knife will fit. That seems to be the most commonly asked question, and in fact, it was my first question before I purchased. Here is a list of the knives I personally have tried, and found to fit ---------- Victorinox Tinker: Perfect fit. Victorinox Electrician: Tiny bit loose, but I don't feel the knife is in danger of falling out. Victorinox Pioneer X: Perfect fit. Case Medium Stockman: Perfect fit. Case Mini Copperlock: A little loose, but pretty good fit. Case Swayback Gent: A little short, so kinda tricky to get out, but it's snug, and wont fall out. Opinel #7: Just about perfect. Opinel #8 Sticks out about an inch, but fits well otherwise. It also fits my Feenix e12 Flashlight, so, this should be an option for many smaller EDC flashlights as well. CONCLUSION ---------- Any "medium" Victorinox Swiss Army knife of 3 or less layers will fit. The 3 layer knives will be a little tight, but perfectly serviceable. 1-layer SAKs will almost certainly be too small. Most medium Case knives should fit. No, this will NOT fit a Buck 110, or any knife similar in size. I haven't found a Multi-Tool yet that will fit, and I've tried about 9 of them, including several of the smaller Leatherman and Gerber models. Hope this information is found useful. ... show more

  • Perfect For Leatherman Rebar
Color: Tan Md
I don't own any Case knives, but I have several of their sheaths. They are well made from quality leather and are remarkably versatile. I've adapted other Case sheaths to accommodate Kershaw folders and a Leatherman Skeletool with great results. Pictured is the Case Medium Job sheath which I'm using for my Leatherman Rebar. These Case sheaths all respond well to some wet molding to get a custom fit. The stitching is excellent and on this particular sheath it's anchored by rivets. The snap is handsome and appears to be well made. Out of the bag the leather is pretty dry, but after wet molding I always apply some mink oil and polish to preserve and protect the leather. Naturally, this will usually darken the leather. If I spent more time on it the results would probably be amazing, but this is a working sheath so appearance was of secondary importance. But it's important to note that the leather responds well to just a little TLC. My only (small) gripe is about the belt slits. I prefer a loop, but the slits do provide a lower profile and, in this instance, should work fine. These Case sheaths are great, particularly at this price point. ... show more

Great little sheath for my muskrat, I applied mink oil first then put my knife in and it molded nicely.

  • Too big... great product though!
Color: Brown Trapper
Useful product but a little too big for the elk ridge trapper knife.

  • It has the genuine "Case" name on the button.
Color: Soft Brown
It's a nice sheath if you like one that's has a little thiner, more pliable leather. In my opinion all one is really paying for is that little brass button with the "Case knife" logo?
