I can keep my phone on my wrist while moving around my busy job and I gets loads of compliments on it. It adds a little weight to the phone, but I expected that and don't mind. I really like this. I keep the tab in my phone all the time, and I clip the beaded bracelet part on only when I need it. I like to use it when hiking, at amusement parks, at concerts, or anywhere I worry about dropping and losing the phone. I have a fear of being on a cruise leaning over and dropping phone in water! One of the lobster clasps had a large gap on the closure. I swapped it for a replacement and the replacement is fine, clasps close tightly. This is my first time using the slotted holder instead of the strap attaching directly onto the case. Works fine so far (only been a couple of days) but time will tell if it lasts. I’m worried the connection will snap since it’s small and not as sturdy as the case. Aesthetically, the chain is nice and lightweight. I hope the gold color doesn’t easily fade. I can get the charging cable into my phone without the tab getting on the way. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. *edit* 2/1/24 I purchased a new one bc I somehow misplaced the original one when I took it off. The new one came today. The one I purchased was a "like new" product. It is useless, look at the pictures. The metal loop can not attach to the plastic card that tucks in between your phone and the phone case. Sending it back and never buying a "like new" product from Amazon again. *Original review* I have had mine since September 30, 2023 and I just now realized (Dec 4 lol) that there is a right way to install it that doesn't make charging a hassle. I had it backwards and it doubled up the material making it to where I had to do a specific action every time I needed to charge it. When I turned it around it made a huge difference. I like mine and I will order the black strap with the wallet. The concept is a good one since I am constantly dropping my phone. Edit 1/28/24 this is not a crossbody length chain, it is for the wrist only. I believe it could be adjusted and shortened, if desired. You would have to snap one end onto one of the chain links instead of onto the metal loop that comes out of the charging port. This is also good on case you want to carry some keys or just one key. I had 2 keys I wanted to carry and I just put the key ring on the phone chain and I always had my phone and keys together. Mine is just now starting to show some fading and discoloration on the chain. I knew it would happen I just expected it to happen sooner but it has held the color nicely. I don't have a pic or video of the chain because I lost it in my house and I came back to order another chain while the old one turns back up. You can tell it's a good investment since I came back to buy the same thing instead of going with a completely different brand. ... show more

I ordered this because I got a second phone case with a wallet that has a buit-in connector for straps, but didn't include one. For starters, this is a super cute chain! I used my own gold clicker O-ring to attach the chain, since it matched better than the silver one that was included (it wouldn't have looked bad with that one, but I like mine better). Even though that's how I plan to use this, I wanted to see if the plastic part would work on my primary otterbox case. First, I pulled the small connected part of the plastic (the bit that would hold the ring for the chain) apart (ie pull the tab off of the metal piece) so I could connect it to my case. With my phone out of the case and the large part of the plastic of the inside of the case, I pushed the tab of the plastic through the charging hole, and then had to put it back together. This part was incredibly hard, you have to shove the metal part through a seemingly impossibly small hole in the plastic tab. Luckily, the hole stretches a little, and my nails are kinda long right now, but it did take me a good 15-20 minutes to get it in. To me, that indicates staying power, so I think it's good, despite the difficulty. I decided against trying to get the ring in because I doubted there would be enough room, there was definitely not for my larger clicker o-ring. The ring that came with this might have fit since it's the type normally on keys, that you have to pull apart to insert into the hole and then do a rotation to get both sides of the ring through the hole. Anyway, I did manage to get the plastic connected to my main case, but it didn't fit very well. Once I put my phone back in, the connector kind of pulled/stretched the case away from my phone, but I think that could be partially attributed to my case; it's thick, and older, so not as strong as a newer case would be. However, combined with the difficulty and possible lack of room for the ring, made me decide against using this for my otterbox case. In the end, for what I purchased this for, it worked out perfectly. I absolutely adore this on my wallet case! It's functional and looks really good with the case. I haven't used it long enough to tell whether it will tarnish or not, but I think it'll be fine, and even if it does I don't think it would be very noticable. If you're buying this for a regular plastic or slimmer silicone case, especially a newer one, I think this would work fine. The plastic part seems really strong, and the chain is lovely. If you're buying this for the chain alone, you won't be disappointed :) ... show more
