This protective cover is much better and more practical than the protective case that comes with the bundle. In fact, the protective case that comes with it does a very poor job of keeping the stylus connected to the reMarkable tablet. I almost lost it three different times, but not with this case. This case is thin, has a nice feel to it, and has a pen holder that is magnetic and actually holds the pen. It is everything I could ask for in a case for my ReMarkable. It also fits snugly and has a little case by the pen holder to carry a few extra nibs.

I had just placed an order for a new reMarkable2 and was looking around for a less costly alternative than the standard reMarkable folio and found this one. It is really nice. It's thin so that you still get the feel of the reMarkable but also includes a slot to hold the marker. I use a King Write and it fits well, though a bit loose sometimes. My only quibble with the folio - and it's not a big one - is that I wish the plastic for the holder on the bottom side was padded because every time I set it down I can hear plastic hitting the desk. This cover fits the RM2 perfectly, has superb pen storage, space for extra tips. Its genius is that it does exactly what is needed, and nothing more, so it does not complicate your interation with the device. It adds very little thickness, so fitting into a backpack or briefcase are a breeze.
