    • No heel strap

I bought the 19" and there are only two front straps but no heel strap even though the product picture show a heel strap. Not sure how to use this! Update: It seems like one of the front straps is actually a heel strap. Still not good design. Just seems like a cost saving measure.

Full disclosure I have not used these in the snow yet but I did fit them, try them on with boots and test all the components. My husband and I both got a set and we are going to use them in the next few weeks. Seem to be great quality and happy to add these to our winter toys!

Recently moved up north and found slippery ice is no fun! These Explorer Snowshoes have front and rear cleat crampons that help give a secure grip on icy terrain. We have animals that need tending each morning and evening and the weather cannot be an excuse to neglect them. These shoes give us the ability to go out in back conditions and walk safely.
