This sherpa plush cat chair is just adorable! It is made of high density foam so it holds its shape well. The covering is sherpa style faux fur in black and pink. The cartoon cat face is so cute, and the chair arms look like cat arms. Since the face and trimmings are all sewn on, it is perfectly safe for toddlers and small children. It is cleverly designed to be used as either an armchair or folded out for a little couch or nap bed. When children see this the first thing they want to do is get a “kitty hug”. It makes them feel like they are curled up with a big friendly cartoon cat. It is very lightweight, and has a little loop at the top of the kitty's head perfect for carrying it around. This chair regained it's shape quickly and appears comfortable to sit in from a support standpoint. However, the fabric itself is not soft (rather abrasive) and appears matted or possibly melted? There are areas that are completely threadbare when you open it up (mostly at the seams), but still...this is not something I would give to a child with pride because although it looks good in pictures, it's not cozy, which is the whole point of a chair like this. I even tried brushing it with a suede brush, but although it looked a bit better, it still felt awful. I will probably use it as a dog bed since I can't think of a child that would enjoy this. ... show more

Nice little chair, my daughter likes it but it looks dirty and the material is matted like and not what I was expecting. I'm gonna try to wash it and see what it does

Fairly easy to take foam out to wash cover BUT the zippers did not come with the little pulling tab on any of the 3 zippers. Baby loves it, cat loves it and dog loves it. I did find that a toothpick fit perfectly to unzip

This kid's couch is super cute and looks exactly like the pictures. My 4 year old daughter was ecstatic when she saw this and loves sitting in it. I like that it opens up to a bedlike couch thing for her to lay in while she watches movies, etc. She puts it in her kids tent and uses it almost daily. The back is not the sturdiest... it doesn't stay up when my 8 year old tries to sit in it, but it's great for my younger children. I picked this couch out because it is adorable, and looked to be well-made. Once I saw it in person, it did not disappoint! My daughter likes it a lot, and I love that the ability to pull it out into a mat has made nap time a more pleasant experience in our household! :) When my daughter isn't sitting on it, our cat will occasionally curl up on it as well, too. That being said, there isn't any zipper to take the cover off, so I do worry about how to wash the fabric (which is very soft and carpet-like) if it gets dirty.
