Used body and wheels/tires for another truck build. The body is way too small to be 1/16th, maybe 1/20th at the largest. The wheels and tires fit the axles of the project truck very well though. I got this for my monster truck obsessed 2 year old, he absolutely loves it. I played with it for a while too, and it's definitely fun. The left and right wheels are controlled separately, and a few times after taking it outside, we were able to get it to flip on a hill and balance on it's front like they do in real life! It came with a rechargeable lithium battery and a very short charging cable. I needed to buy batteries for the controller/remote separately as none were included, which is a huge frustration for me as a consumer. It takes 2 AA. The speed is pretty decent but it's not incredibly fast, and you can get some good distance without moving closer to it while still being able to control it. I think the price is about average and it has some durability, it's been thrown several times in frustration (by the toddler not the parent lol, though I was ready to after realizing I have to unscrew two little screws each time I need to remove the battery to charge it.) This is good for so many ages, my son again is two, but I'm 34 and had fun using it! ... show more

If you're looking for a budget rc that can handle being roughed around, that's actually 4 wheel drive and can handle water, it's this style of truck. It's not the fastest of our toy grade RCs, but it's got torque and it does go on water and can legit be thrown in the pool. I have more than one of this style truck for my children. The battery compartment is sealed and so are the insides, and it does a good job of keeping the mysterious robot spaghetti that we call the wiring, dry. At least for us it does. It does struggle a little in tall grass as the ground clearance isn't super high, but the 4wd helps it pull through. It has the tank style controls, which means the wheels don't turn left and right, just opposite of each side to rotate the truck. I definitely recommend trying one of these. They're not near as delicate as some other RCs in this price range. I have a 3 year old who bashes these all day! ... show more
