We have an old house with a window in the shower. I wanted a vinyl frosted or clear window curtain (our outside window is already frosted) so it would light in, but protect the window frame and sill. And you can't get a clear/frosted one in those waterproof fabrics. We change it out about the same amount as we would a regular shower curtain liner, which isn't super often, but it does need to be done eventually, so you don't want to spend tons of money on them. I really hope they don't stop making them because they are SO hard to find. **UPDATE: When I originally wrote this reivew, I had purchased this item for $7.50 in Feb 2020. I ordered the exact same item again Jan 2021 for $15.99 so the price doubled in a year** ... show more

Our house has a rather inexplicable window in the bathtub/shower. Having self-consciously covered this window with an opaque curtain for years, one day it occurred to me that there is really nothing to hide from. The window is on the second floor, back side of a house in the sticks, so I thought it would be nice to have a clear curtain to let in some light and to allow me to see what's going on in God's beautiful world, so I ordered this one on Amazon. I love it! It is definitely "super clear" as the product ad suggests, and I am really enjoying my shower in a green, leafy bower, looking forward to singing and scrubbing while the leaves turn and can't wait for snowfall! The curtain is large enough that I am using just half of it flat across the window and saving the other half for another day. If I had known that such a mundane item as a plastic window curtain would be such a kick, I would have ordered it years ago. Whoever designed the master bath in my house was an idiot! There is a wooden frame window in the master shower. This curtain keeps the water off the window and gives light and privacy since it's frosted. My greatest fear is one day it will stop being sold. (I replace the curtain every year or so, once it gets dirty.) ... show more
