I purchased the Carina C1 battery system for my Meta Wayfarers to extend battery life. I was only expecting a small improvement, maybe an extra couple of hours at best. I was genuinely surprised by the results. With the C1 installed, my glasses now last all day on a single charge. This alone has made them much more practical for daily use. The included magnetic charging cable is also a nice feature, allowing you to connect to any standard USB power source if the battery runs low. I’ve tried other battery solutions for Meta glasses before, and most were bulky, uncomfortable, and inconvenient to attach or remove. Because of that, I didn’t have high expectations going into this. However, the Carina C1 is extremely low profile. Once installed, you can barely tell anything is attached to the glasses. It doesn’t interfere with comfort or appearance and feels like part of the original design. Battery swapping is very simple—just pull the battery off and snap a charged one on. It only takes a few seconds. The only minor drawback is that if you have longer hair, you may need to remove the glasses to swap batteries more comfortably. Overall, this product has exceeded all my expectations. It is the best battery solution I have used for Meta Wayfarers and delivers exactly what it promises. Must have if you own rayban meta. Initially I had an issue with product, it was not charging. Contacted seller, within a timely manner I got responses and resolutions to my issue. This product is durable and very, very simple to use. Must MUST have if you own meta glasses, the back up batteries keep me going all day, from 5am to 7pm I can use my glasses for all my needs, music, information, phone calls, messages and more. I wish I had bout this sooner, but I own it now and use every day. The others are heavy and very cumbersome. This product is light weight, making it comfortable. The value i got is much more now with all day battery. Love it, must have...get it!!!

These worked great the first day. They stayed charging without issue however after the copper coating wore off they stopped holding a charge. They will stop charging after a few seconds and you have to press down on the conectors to reconnect or just hope it does. Today one of the prongs fell out. My guess is from all the squeezing the get them to connect to the glasses made it pop out. The issue with lack of charging is from the loss of physical connection. It seems that once the copper coating wears off the problems start. This happened within one week of using. They are sending a replacement so maybe my review will change but I doubt it. You can see in the photos how the coating has worn off

Works great. My only con. Need a large matte version. Glossy has everyone looking at me and wondering if I am recording. Didn’t have that without the item. Good battery life. Love the direct attach cable and connect to power brick. Easy to install and charge. Doesn’t add weight and comfortable. Good value for the money if the Meta battery is weak.

The media could not be loaded. Awesome product. Highly recommended for the Ray-Ban medical glasses. I am blind, and the ability to charge the glasses while I am wearing them is great. The C1 system was very easy to install and you don’t even know that you are wearing them on the glasses. They are comfortable and others around me. Do not notice that I am wearing the system on my Ray-Ban. One of the battery packs did not work. Customer service was super responsive and they are sending me another battery pack.

The first set I got the wire came off during installation. Was sent a replacement, I thought these were great for about two weeks when the glue started to come undone holding the connector in at the bridge. I think this is a brilliant idea but unfortunately it's not there yet.

I installed this on my Ray-Ban Meta glasses about two weeks ago. At first, it worked perfectly with no issues. Unfortunately, after some use, it stopped charging the glasses consistently. The problem appears to be a poor connection at the contact points. If I press down on the area where it connects to the glasses, the battery will begin charging, but shortly after, it stops again unless I keep applying pressure. This makes it unreliable for regular use. To rule out other causes, I verified with a multimeter that the battery I was using was properly charged. I also checked that power is reaching the connection points, but it doesn’t seem to reliably transfer power to the glasses’ battery. Interestingly, the glasses still charge properly when placed in the original case, likely because the case applies constant pressure to maintain the connection. While the product showed promise initially, the charging inconsistency makes it frustrating and impractical to use long-term. I’ve reached out to the seller and will wait to see if there’s something that can be done to resolve this issue. I’m hopeful a solution can be provided, as the concept itself is great but needs better execution. Update: Despite having issues with the first item, the seller was amazing and quickly sent a replacement. I’ve had zero issues since installing it about two weeks ago. I would absolutely recommend both the product and the seller, this is what true customer service looks like!
