For a job in retail where I'm down on my knees a lot, these are excellent pants for it! All my previous pants I've worn holes through the knees, so these double-pant pants were an obvious choice! I got these over Carhartt's heavy-duty 100% duck cotton pants, as I'm mostly working inside and need that extra flexibility for going up ladders and lifting heavy objects. Only downsides is that without A/C you'll definitely start to feel hot in these as they have that extra layer of pant, and at first they'll also feel noticeably heavier on your legs.     • Comfortable, useful, but not durable or "rugged"

These pants are really comfortable, and I find the pockets very useful. The only problem is these pants won't last long at all if you use them for actual construction. Even though they have double knees, I ripped through the knees after only a couple months of use. The fabric isn't up to the challenge, so the "rugged" branding isn't accurate. Another minor complain is that the color fades significantly after a few washings. There is a decent chance I would buy these again for small projects around the house that won't be too rough on them, but for real jobs I will look for one of their products with more durable fabric. ... show more

I love these but have found that by the third wash/dry cycle I’ve lost both length and waist size. I wash on warm/cold and low dry. When buying consider buying slightly larger.
