FINALLY! You have no idea how many hours I spent searching the internet for a coat for my son. He's 6'5" and weighs 380. Most coats that fit a tall man and one who is larger than most are either non-existent or they are so expensive that I could never afford one. I had placed an order for this coat with another vendor on Amazon (Bare Bones - Don't EVER order from these people!!!) I placed it on December 13th and paid for priority shipping. When the coat had not been delivered to my son by December 18th (which was the estimated date of delivery) I started what turned out to be quite a few emails back and forth from that vendor. Then - 2 days before Christmas I received a telephone call telling me they didn't have the coat in stock and it would be December 31st before they "might" get more. I was upset - to say the least. Then - on December 24th Bare Bones sent me an email saying they didn't have the coat and didn't know when they would get more and they were canceling my order. So - my son didn't get his main Christmas present before Christmas. However, I went back onto Amazon.Com and found this coat through Amazon. I KNEW AMAZON was reliable and would deliver because they've NEVER let me down. And they didn't this time. I ordered the coat and the very next day it was delivered to my son. Amazon was out of the coats in my son's size (4XT) when I placed the order on December 13th or I would have ordered it from them to begin with. My son opened the coat up and was really excited because he had no winter coat and the temperatures in the Atlanta area plummeted to 6F this week. He LOVES this coat. I paid $80 for it which was $39 less than Bare Bones listed for it. It was much much less than many other web sites that carried the coat. It is super warm. It is so well made that I believe this might be the best coat I've ever bought my son. He said "Mom, this is such a nice coat and it's warm and it is so well made." I want to thank Amazon for doing such a great job of getting the coat to my son less than 24 hours after I placed the order. And NO! This isn't a misprint!!! I placed the order about 3:00 p.m. on Thursday and my son had the coat in his hands at 1:40 p.m. Friday!!!!!!!! It came from Kentucky (during snow storm) to Atlanta that fast. Thank you Amazon.

The sizing was a little off in the waistline. I ordered an X-Large but I should have gotten a large in big and tall as another customer suggested in their review because my boyfriend wanted the coat tighter at the waste since the coat looks too long and it is very loose at the waistline. However, we didn’t return it because he likes the room he has in the arm and chest area. So again, he loves the coat but feels it was just too long.

Well, after 30 years of working on the Railroad, around massive locomotives and boxcars, in all kinds of weather, my old jacket was finally showing its age, cuffs were wore through, stained with Dinosaur Poop, no to mention just a little bit snug when I added a Hoodie underneath it. Time to upgrade. Retired now and no longer need this super rugged, extremely tuff, do everything, handle anything Industrial Strength, Work Wear. Bought 2, yes, 2 normal folks going out for Dinner coats and promptly returned them. After decades of working outside, I got this thing about being both Dry & Warm. Screw Fashion. Just bought this jacket, exactly like the one I've wore 30 years but, well, new and nice looking. Also bought the exact same Carhartt Men's Big & Tall Arctic Quilt Lined Duck Traditional Coat C003 . Might not be head out for a night on the Opera type clothing but , ya know what, I ain't never gone to the Opera. When it's below zero actual temps and -20 wind chills, I like being warm enough I do not have to run to my car and chance falling on the ice. Slow steady saunter is more my style, as is these two new coats. Probably wasted my money on that arctic jacket. I cannot remember the last time it got cold enough I had to put it on. This jacket and a Hoodie are I've ever needed to stay plenty toasty but, figured I'm buying the one, might as well get the other. Getting older and really hate the Cold.

❤️ Update: Red Carhartt Men's Quilted Flannel Lined At the bottom... I love this jacket! I'm a gal and it is just a great jacket! I had one like it before and it was blue and I had it on for 30 years before it was stolen. People can say all kinds of things yet I will tell you that this jacket will keep you warm and comfy and the red makes it a little more feminine. I still think a guy would look good in red one too! It has pockets and a great zipper and you can layer underneath it. I'm so glad I had the red and did so much better than the one for women. It fits as expected. Thank you Amazon.com! Update: February 2021 : Large fits 36 to 38 inch waist. Extremely comfortable and warm! Red is my favorite- please bring back the colors! This one was also stolen and I can’t get it out of the pawnshop. It look like new and was warm as can be. Fit great, looked great- stolen.... Amazon ., please find some decent colors. I don’t want to wear gray or brown. Yet the men’s coat fit so much better than the ladies. With the company as big as Amazon you should be able to get more great jackets! - Smile and be safe Thank you Amazon.com! ❤️
