I got these when the Columbia gloves I ordered didn't fit right. I noticed that I liked my son's gloves the best, so I looked for men's gloves that were similar, and these were actually a bitter price and just as nice. Glad I got these and I'm sure I'll wear them till they fall apart. I have long, slender fingers and a medium as long enough and also provided room for warm air to keep me warm. I could wear liner gloves under these but didn't need them.

As to the insides staying damp, that's true. I also have a pair of Carhartt mittens, which do the same thing. A point to be made; they don't seem to dampen up when it's below 10 degrees or so. I have an electric boot liner, and works out okay for drying them out.

I bought these for my husband and stepson so they can keep working outdoors even as the temperatures drop. The good: -gloves fit as expected -they feel warm, thick and comfortable -tightening strap helps to keep gloves in place -there is a connector to keep the gloves together when they are not being worn so one glove won't go missing like your socks when they go in the dryer -can still grip and have some dexterity, better than mittens The bad: - touchscreen hit and miss depending on device and what you have been handling. - the gloves do not allow sweat to escape so moisture builds up inside the gloves and the fleece inner lining. As such, the gloves don't dry out very quickly in an average home overnight meaning your putting your hands into soggy gloves in the morning. My husband has been trying to pull the inner fleece out of the glove to enable the lining to dry which helps but you might want to consider having a second pair of gloves you can rotate whilst the other pair is drying. On the whole, gloves fit very well. Both family members who got these were impressed with the fit and the feel when they got these. They allow enough dexterity to use the snowblower, shoveling, walking the dogs, cutting and splitting wood. I would buy these again so they have an extra pair to be able to allow one set to dry out for a longer time.

As others have noted, these are pretty thick and bulky. But they serve the exact purpose I got them for perfectly, keeping my hands warm in the Montana winters when I'm outside clearing snow....or just outside. These things are waaaaarm. Despite their bulkiness I can handle a shovel or my snowblower just fine. Others have commented that because of the waterproof feature, it contains moisture from sweaty hands, so can be hard to dry. I can see how that is the case but never wore them long enough to have that issue. They are certainly waterproof though. If you're looking for gloves like this, you aren't wanting something you can knit in, you want warmth, and these are great for that.

I received these gloves at the end of winter season because they were out of stock when I purchased them. Therefore, I have not worn them in cold weather but seem like they would be warm. I can't tell if they are waterproof either. That is the reason for 4 stars on these 2 categories. I can tell you they don't work on my iphone touchscreen.
