    • Follow my advice to save time on returns

Only review you need to read. Order two inches up on waist. I am a 34 (in all other pants) and 36 fit great in the morning after wash and dry, a little loose by EOD but thats all pants. I am a 32 length but these are too long so order an inch or two down. Also these are not slim fit pants, though slimmer than relaxed or loose. If you’re looking for thigh huggers go buy Levi’s. These are super comfy all day working and much more well made than most $50 work pants. If you’re a hipster move along. Carhartt sizing is way off so don’t waste your time with returns just follow my advice. Love these pants aside from the measurement discrepancies. ... show more

    • Fit is great, design and quality not so much
The tag on these says "Slim Fit" -- not straight like this listing says. Probably just a branding/name change that hasn't been updated everywhere yet. I generally wear 36x30 in most pants, but after reading reviews, I decided to size up to a 38 waist and I'm glad I did. I think the 36 would have fit, but likely would have been tight. I prefer the looser fit anyway. These definitely seem way longer than a 30 inseam, maybe a 34. I wish they came in a 28 inseam like some other Carhartt pants. I have to put about 3 rolls in the bottom of these to hit where I like, which is just kind of covering the top of my 6" work boots. I agree with some other reviews that the zipper pocket doesn't really make sense. It's super small and just makes the left side of the pants feel bulkier than it needs to be. The other thing that I find a little annoying is the location of the belt loops. I usually clip my keys to one of the right belt loops with a carabiner, then stuff them in my right back pocket, but the loop on these is too far forward to do that. **Editing this review to remove a star because I've had a couple pairs of these for about a year now and the durability has not been great. These pants develop holes in random places where you aren't even putting wear and tear on them. And the places where you are putting wear and tear wear holes super fast. Both pairs I own have random holes in the legs in addition to wear and holes in the knees, crotch, back pocket, etc. The material is not very thick and seems to develop holes on its own. ... show more

    • Wildly Inconsistent Sizing

I have 3 pairs of these pants in 32x34 and all 3 are differently sized. The first pair I bought are a perfect fit, the second pair I bought are noticeably tighter and about 1" shorter, and the third pair I bought were a slightly looser fit and about 1" longer. I like the first pair a lot and these would be my go to work pants if they were sized correctly and consistently. Carhartt needs to get a handle on their QC, I don't even have these sorts of issues on cheap knock offs from Walmart. ... show more
