First off, these are great pants, will wear like iron. From all my purchases from Carhart I have come to understand that their pants do run smaller than other brands. I typically buy 38's but here I needed a 40 so they would fit. Recommend that you buy one size larger than you normally take.

Super comfy, they run small, so order one size up. But the one feature you’re going to love is instead of a small little change pocket on the right side of the pants inside the main pocket, they’ve made it bigger to accommodate, wait for it, a cell phone! Super secure, super comfy, super practical, I can’t believe this is the first time a pant manufacturer has done this. They should’ve been doing this a long, long time ago!
