  • Our favorite buy!
Color: Gravel Size: 31W x 32L
These are my husbands favorite pants and the only ones he will wear! They have a great fit and feel to them and the colors are perfect for an everyday pant. They are worth the money. They do wrinkle so it is good to dry them or put some wrinkle spray on them. Stains are easily removed from them. They have deep pockets that fit everything he needs and the material is thick but also breathable. ... show more

  • Good pants

Nice, durable, thick pants. Fit perfect, not baggy & definitely worth the money. Will be buying a few more for work.

My only complaint is that they fit a bit different to size. They are still a little tight in the legs but overall still fit me well. When choosing maybe go up one size in inseam. Other than that they feel good to wear and are comfortable.

  • Great work pants
Color: Tan Size: 34W x 34L
I love these pants, they look and fit amazing. The extra pocket on the side is great for a pocket knife or small tools. The thick canvas material is great for working outside.

  • Great pants.
Color: Gravel Size: 33W x 30L
These are super nice. They are a little 90s on the relaxed fit, but I’m glad someone is still doing it. Very high quality. Definitely worth the dough. Update: I was wrong. The relaxed fit isn’t 90s at all. I noticed a post from another poster on the regular fits. The person mentioned “darts”. Indeed, these sewn in darts are there even on the relaxed fit, and they are well done and tough. So, what’s really going on is Carhartt has their own thing going on here, and it’s not 90s. These are badass structured pants that would make 80s BDUs look like they came from K-Mart. They also laugh off a hot steaming iron. Good. Job. Carhartt! Final Update: Just got the straight fit. Incredibly nice. The darts define the knees so that the pant articulates with movement. I think I have a way to make the sizing work for everyone. Having worn both patterns, I’d go with a size up in waist with both. Stick to your regular inseam length. Otherwise: Straight Fit = Sex Pistols. Relaxed Fit = Pearl Jam. I’m “Sex Pistols” right now, but things might turn “Pearl Jam” due to the possibility of unforeseen and abrupt changes in caloric intake in the future. Ultimate Update: After all is said and done, and after wearing both patterns for a while now, I think I finally understand. Theses pants are evil. Anyone that has worn them for awhile will have to agree. They are great and I’m totally keeping them, they solve all sorts of problems I didn’t even know I had, but yeah… ... show more

  • Sizing comparison, leg opening comparison, feel of material, read on...
Color: Dark Khaki Size: 33W x 30L
I purchase a balanced amount of products between brick and mortar stores and online. Plenty of stores carry Carhartt clothing but no one close to me carries the Carhartt Flex Rigby with the exception of Academy, and only in the camo/mossy oak color. So of course I went there to at least verify what size in the Flex Rigby would work. For those who care, even though I didn't purchase these pants from Academy, I did purchase other items that day. I ordered these from Amazon in size 33x30. The waist is perfect and as expected; it seems identical to multiple pairs of Levi's 559's I have. The length was a surprise, as it's closer to a 32 than a 30 if comparing to the same Levi's. The size of the leg opening at the bottom is 17 13/16", and nearly identical to the Levi's 559 as well, which is to say just right for not swallowing tennis shoes but still open enough to easily fit over a work boot. The leg portion fit is more like a "normal" (read not skinny jeans) pair of jeans and are also not so large that you feel like your wearing a sumo suit. The flex at first wasn't that noticeable, but that's only because it's just the right amount and not overdone to a point you feel like your wearing spandex. The flex is definitely a great feature though and one that's immediately realized once you put on a "non-flex" pair of jeans. The feel of the material is closer to your regular blue jeans, and not stiff or "scratchy" like the ripstop or heavy duty work pants. The side cellphone pocket; it'll fit a Samsung Galaxy in an Otterbox case by the way. I think the picture for the dark khakis is incorrect as in person the dark khakis is as one would probably expect, which is darker than the pair shown in the picture. I hope they wear as well as the Carhartt cargo ripstops, which are very similar in the fit. Of course where they're made can make a difference in the sizing, but the 33x30's in Dark Khakis seem to be a winner, even if a touch on the long side. UPDATE: 1/20/19 - The pants have been worn close to once a week since purchase, and although not subjected to harsh work environments, they've worn great. Belt loops still in tact, top corners of rear pockets show no signs of wearing through or pulling apart, and the fit seems to be the same and with no noticeable signs of wearing in any stress areas. ... show more

  • Nice but not suited for heavy duty work.
Color: Black Size: 32W x 30L
I like the pockets. Good size to fit the tools i need on my person. They're comfortable and look good too. But if you work in a busy shop where you're constantly moving, these give out quick. After a few months of 60 hour weeks, the pockets start to tear apart (usually the side leg tool pocket goes first. Then the back pocket. Then the knees. I've gone through several pairs of these as well as the carhartt cargo pants and its the same for all of them. Side pocket. Back pocket. Knees. I guess if you dont bend your knees a lot or put tools in your pockets you'll be okay. Farming, landscaping, but not construction or mechanical work. They're still RELATIVELY more durable than dickies, but that's not saying much. I might have to try ones with reinforced knees, but ive had a lot of issues with carhartt when it comes to their work clothes. ... show more
