Right before my annual fishing trip to Canada, the zipper on my lightweight jacket broke. I luckily found this one on Amazon, and it was even on sale! Awesome deal for a Carhartt brand. Because it was last minute, I really didn't expect to get it before we left on the trip, and found another around the house to use. But it did make it, literally the morning that we left. I opened the box, threw the jacket in the car, and off we went. Turned out to be a perfect purchase. The jacket is just heavy enough to keep the chill off when running across the water in the mornings. And it's also water resistant, which was an unexpected bonus. literally just got this handed to me by the delivery driver and ripped it open so fast. i’m so impressed by the quality of this jacket, not only the material it’s made of and both how light and sturdy it feels, but also the zipper looks like it’ll never catch and get messed up. super easy to zip and unzip very smoothly. i feel like this should have cost way more than i paid, so value is definitely awesome here. pockets are large and looks like they can hold a good bit of stuff. overall it looks amazing and i can’t wait to gift this to my dad for christmas! ... show more

Got the 3xl tall because I'm 5'11 and 250 lbs. (Dad bod) Jacket fits good, but is extremely thin. Not as long as my 3xl tall tees, but long enough. Durability is 50/50 due to the thinness. Walking in it sounds like shwish shwish. Pockets are pretty big. Definitely carry your lunch. Hood is good. Solid color is a plus. ... show more
